Wonderful place to get a haircut! My girlfriend and her parents go here to get their haircuts done by Michael McMurry! He does an excellent job and never disappoints! Sometimes I get my haircut done my Michael as well, but it’s rare since I’m from the Richmond area. He’s very knowledgeable since he has been an educator with Schwarzkopf Professional in the past. His specialities are color, hi-​lites, low-​lites, precision haircuts, and corrective color. He knows how to treat his clients well and it’s always great to talk to him whenever I come in for a haircut. Cut and style services for men are $ 20, and cut and color services are $ 35.
The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. Jamaica, the Office Manager and Salon Coordinator, is wonderful! She does a great job welcoming clients as soon as they walk in. She always has a smile on her face and has great PR with the clients and her co-​workers. Very organized and always does a great job!
Highly recommend this place if you need any hair services to be done or just need to be pampered for one day. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it! Even though I’m from the Richmond area, coming down to Shane’s Salon and Day spa in Newport News definitely makes the drive worth my while!

Just had a massage by Trina, seriously the best massage EVER. I’ve had a lot of massage, but this one was definitely the best.
