Computer Concepts – Yorktown

Though I do not like to post negative reviews I find that customers should be aware of this company and the lack of respect it has for its customers. All statements below are based on facts and not how I feel personally.
Management is Unprofessional using words like pissing contest with me.
According to there service agreement, they KEEP your computer when it is left there for a short period of time. READ SERVICE AGREEMENT!
They don’t call and update you on the progress. That is the customers job!
Communication is VERY poor on ALL accounts!
I can not rate how the repair service is due to we never got to that point.
If you do choose this company and I will never again, make sure you keep tabs on your computer!
Don’t just trust them to be outstanding with there customer service and expect them to keep in touch with you.

I have used these guys twice with great results each time. The latest incident was in July when my daughter accidentally erased over 45,000 photos from her external Passport hard drive and had no other backup. She is an aspiring professional photographer so this was potentially devastating. Although I live near DC, my sister in Yorktown had used these guys in the past and swore by them. I had bad experiences with local repair shops and terrible experiences with online providers so I tried them out once before with my own PC and it was fixed perfectly for a very reasonable fee. This time we held our breath as they spent a few days trying to recover the files after I shipped them the Passport. It turned out to be 100% successful (my daughter now also uses Cloud backup). I was thrilled as was my daughter. Alan Healy is the owner of this store. He and his staff are great. I highly recommend them. They can also put a link on your PC so they can remotely help if I have any future problem.

I was so happy to find Computer Concepts. After visiting the Apple Store in Richmond and another Apple Authorized Repair Provider in Richmond who gave very perfunctory «solutions» to my problem, Alan at Computer Concepts really dug into the issue and dedicated the time necessary to diagnosis the true root cause to the problem. Hoping that I finally have a solution. But if not, I would not hesitate to seek additional assistance from them! Great company. Can’t say enough positives about my experience with them.
