History

Established in 2006.

Wishes opened its doors on December 1, 2006 by two friends who recognized a need for a specialty shop/​boutique shopping experience in Yorktown Heights. Aside from the chain stores, there was no store that one could purchase a hostess gift or a thoughtful gift for your best friend and have it wrapped beautifully. Everyone was always running to Mt. Kisco or White Plains when they needed something special. Our customers now tell us we are their «go-​to» destination when they need a gift for their daughter to bring to a party, a gift for their child’s teacher or when they just need a little retail therapy. We try to make the most of our small space by filling it with so much fun and different merchandise. It is possible to stop by daily and always find something new!
