Slow slow slow service. Food is average for a pizza joint. But man when you wait 45 minutes for a cheeseburger… especially when it’s not that busy! Pretty disappointed in this place. We won’t be back. Update: we actually waited over an hour and they brought out the wrong food. I told them we just wanted our check. Some rude little waitress told us that they weren’t going to take the food off the bill because they would correct it. I said absolutely not and that I would not be paying for our entrees. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience from a restaurant in my life. Please do not give this restaurant a chance.

We’ve enjoyed several trips to the Vault. The Vault wings are great. The homemade chips with Old bay are a real treat as well. The pizza is just okay. The service staff is friendly. The layout of the building is a bit odd seems like they didn’t think it through, it limits their seating capacity but has no other effect. We’ll return for the wings and chips.

As a local I eat at the Vault way more than I probably should and the reason for that is that it is a very clean and smoke free place to catch a game and hang out with friends. The beer selection is very good and the signature Vault wings are amazing and I order them every single time I visit. The staff is always energetic and polite. If you want to have a few drinks and a good meal this is a great spot.

The Vault has a great selection of craft beers. I love their pizza and Vault wings. We have never had anything but great service and will definitely continue to frequent this restaurant!

I was also excited to see a bar opening in my neighborhood. First visit I had a turnover and beer at the bar. The sandwich was ok, but not my favorite. Beer is beer, selection was ok, but this is not a place that has a lot of local micro-brews. That’s OK too. Second visit my wife was with me. We shared a pizza. The pizza was soft and floppy, required knife and fork. Wife’s Manhattan tasted ok but was overpriced. We sat at a tall table which rocked so much that we feared we would spill drinks by cutting pizza. The waitress just said«Oh yeah, that one does that». I might go back for a beer, but not much else. It’s a shame, because the place has so much more potential than that.

I’m so happy I finally have a bar walking distance to my house! It’s your typical bar food place. Everything is pretty good. Price is a little to high for bar food. Me and my boyfriend go for a couple drinks and dinner and it cost almost as much as going to a steak house. Definitely need to lower prices a little for Shiloh. Place is very clean and nice inside.

New restaurants are few and far between in Shiloh. We were excited when The Vault started remodeling the old York Bank building. After the hub bub of a new place settled down we finally tried it tonight. Well, I have noticed it’s always busy so my expectation was high. Upon entering, it is very nicely decorated, sleek modern with a full bar. All the booths were full so we sat at the bar. We ordered our drinks quickly and also appetizer, which was brought out in short order. So far so good. We ordered one of their signature sandwiched, called a Turnover, essentially a sub served on a fresh pizza crust folded to form the roll. Then we waited… and waited, and waited. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. First strike. They forgot my fries, strike two. One of our sandwiched had a hair in it! Yuck! Strike three! We alerted the wait staff who took the sandwich back to be remade. It took about 15 minutes to have a new sandwich delivered. The food wasn’t bad, though nothing spectacular. We finished our food and received the check. First surprise is that they changed extra to have banana pepper on the sub, a condiment available at no charge in any other local sub shop. But, the most egregious surprise is that the aforementioned hairy sandwich was not even comped! I have never in my life been in a restaurant that didn’t comp a meal that was screwed up, even for a less foul issue than finding a hair. So for an app, two sandwiches, fries and drinks was $ 32.00! We never really got an apology, nor did a manager even visit our table to personally apologize. Not so good an impression at all. This experience has left a bad taste in our mouths and even though The Vault is literally around the corner from our house, I don’t see us returning.
