Description

Specialties

At The Right Shoe, we believe you should not have to sacrifice style or performance for function and comfort. All of our brands and styles are carefully chosen to offer the latest in fashion, highest performance, best in comfort, AND recommended by podiatrists and physical therapists. Our professional staff incorporates a 6 step approach to shoe fitting. This ensures you achieve the perfect balance of comfort and function in a style you will WANT to wear.

History

Established in 2013.

The Right Shoe was opened in 2013 by Martin Foot and Ankle. Many of their patients have a need for comfortable supportive shoes, in many cases with the ability to accept orthotics or to accommodate various medical conditions which can cause fit concerns. As a result, all shoe store staff members not only receive training on our entire product selection, but also receive initial and ongoing «foot» training from the podiatrists and therapists.

Meet the Manager

Jason B.

Manager

I started in retail sales at the age of 14, and have spent the last 20+ years in the specialty retail industry including sporting goods, clothing, shoes, and accessories. I started with Martin Foot and Ankle in 2013 to open and run The Right Shoe. It has been quite an experience! Having no medical background, it has been great partnering with the doctors and learning so much about the anatomy of the foot, and the different conditions which can affect the fit and comfort of a shoe.

I very much enjoy being in this position, with this organization, as I get to help so many people be healthier and more comfortable on their feet. I can’t count how many times I’ve had customers exclaim that they had no idea they could get shoes that felt this good. It is quite gratifying to be able to make a difference in peoples lives — after all when your feet aren’t happy, you’re not happy!
