It is all in our name – Beach FUNatic! When you arrive in York Beach ME stop at The Beach Funatic for all your vacation needs. We have a HUGE selection of boogie boards, goggles, Teva sandals, towels, sun tan lotion and loads of beach toys. As for beach games… we have it all! From Frisbees, to Waboba, Bocce and Badminton. Oh, don’t forget to fly a kite when you are here! We can set you up with all the right gear to have a sky high time!

But thats not all! We have all the newest and coolest toys for the young and not so young! From arts & crafts, science experiments, knights and dragons, stuffed animals, books, pirate booty to the largest selection of puzzles and games for the family!

To top it off… we have gags, funny hats, retro toys, jewelry and more! Come on in and PLAY!

From July to mid August we offer activities on The Porch. They include game night, Tattoos, crafts, and guest appearances from artists, writers and musicians. Call for a list

We are closed for the winter months but will reopen May 18^th for the summer of 2015. See you then!

History

Established in 2001.

The Beach Funatic is a seasonal business open from Mid May to the end of October. It is a unique, locally run toy store, catering to summer visitors along with York residents. Owned and operated by The Goldenrod, the Beach Funatic brings tradition and exceptional customer service to York Beach.

Manager

Lisa manages the Beach Funatic. She travels during the off season looking for all the newest toys, games, and super fun gifts to share with all the York Beach customers. But she doesn’t do it alone! The team is highly knowledgable about the needs of the guests. Directions and dinner suggestions are equally as important as how games are played!
