Yorba Linda Country Club

My daughter had her wedding here last Saturday, and I can say nothing but good things. The food was wonderful, the staff and servers were great. The event coordinators were the best. They helped in every way and the wedding was perfect. I am so pleased we chose the country club. You do have to have a sponsor if you want a wedding here (unless you book at their wedding event).
The wedding staff accommodated us in every way, including keeping things in the office we left behind to be picked up later.
If you want a fabulous event, this is the place!

I have been conducting business meetings at Yorba Lind CC for the past two years and I attest the service, food and venue are amazing!
My meetings range from 15 to 50 guests. The YLCC event department is always extremely accommodating and professional. Shari and Brittany from the event department are excellent communicators and always offer additional ideas that make my events impeccable and pleasing to my guests.
Regarding the venue itself, it is an «Ace» with the meeting guests. They love coming to the club because it is beautiful and they always appreciate the food menu offered by YLCC and the excellent service that comes with it.
I highly recommend holding your upcoming events at YLCC, as you will be very pleased with your choice for all the reasons mentioned above and more!

This is a wonderful club to play tennis at. The course is beautiful and the food is delicious. All of the staff are wonderful. A great place to spend a day golfing, tennis or at the pool.

We had our Valencia High School Class of 1973 reunion dinner there last weekend and it was delightful. The food was good — nothing special — drinks were good too.
Pretty clubhouse, gorgeous greens, lovely swimming pool, but then it better look like that for a private club as I know what it costs to belong and play there and it’s not inexpensive.

A very challenging golf course from the back tees. You must hit your drives in the proper postion on many holes to have a decent shot to the green. The greens are fast and true. You do not want to get above the hole and have to putt downhill. A variety of tees helps. Bring your A game if you choose to play the Black tees. The club personel are very helpful and friendly. Pace of play is very acceptable. Great tennis and pool.

GOLF COURSE REVIEW ONLY:
I played in a two-​day tournament this week and it was held here. The staff was friendly and gave every player a free YLCC towel with our names monogrammed on them. Super nice! The driving range is nice but they do make you hit off mats, and being a boycotter of mats since I’ve had more than one friend get injured while hitting on them, I wasn’t too pleased but they were in good quality so it was a little better than usual mats. The golf course is not terribly challenging but it’s a fun one (meaning not too hard but a little tricky). The greens are the major challenge! They are SUPER… like SUPER DUPER fast. I play at Tustin Ranch regularly, which is known for their hard greens, and these were harder! It was a great course and if you ever have the chance to get on a private course like this, do it!

Of course I am a fan because my daughter played GREAT here today. It is a well-​maintained private country club with tennis and swimming. The people that worked around the facility were very nice. My daughter says the greens are very fast. The do make you hit off mats at the driving range.

Came here to watch the state of the union. I left having experienced a wonderful cheese arrangement, some wonderful coffee, and some super tasty bbq chicken bites. I hear there’s a golf course outside the clubhouse as well. Next time if I’m not distracted by tasty victuals, I’ll check to verify this rumor.

I am not a member but had a chance to play here and was impressed. A fantastic layout. Not as challenging off the tee as others expressed, but the greens were testy. They looked slow but played fast and reading the break was paramount. Play here if invited, join if you can.

Challenging layout, no frills club. Greens can be so-​so but don’t pass up the chance to play here if you ever get the invite. Greens are poa anua grass and can be quite receptive. Par 5s are reachable. Most challlenging aspect of the course is your tee shots which in turn can make approach shots tough. The course is mature and trees have grown in so there is a premium on keeping it in play. The course is a relic in Orange County for being an old school equity ownership club.

I’m mad at Management here for not having the logical foresight to do an early mandatory evacuation during the Yorba Linda fires for those out on the greens with no TV/​radio, and probably unaware of the actual severity of this horrible disaster going on about a mile away from the club. (Please excuse my French, but serious, appropriate F-​bomb dropped)
Since my parents are pretty hard core golfers, they won’t take calls while on the greens. This led me to contact the pro shop to confirm whether they’re still out there, (they seriously will golf through anything) but the air quality outside was pretty horrific, so I was hoping they’d realize that and start heading back. Still, I just had to have the peace of mind that they were safe.
Any rate, contacting the pro-​shop to have Mr. & Mrs. T summoned off the course (which they were able to locate them at the 13^th hole when I called) was useless as there really was no sense of urgency on their end, and after being told that the fires were relatively close AND there was a mandatory evacuation from some Yorba Linda residences, I got in the car and rushed over to the club. Thank goodness I happened to be in OC at the time! Not so much fun to drive closer and closer into a black cloud of something that looks like a nuclear bomb /​Armageddon. And looking at the congestion on the opposite lane from evacuators trying to vacate the area I was heading towards placed me in bonafide
mode.
Only when I once arrived in person is when they actually hustled to get my parents back via golf carts and off to home. 20 minutes never seemed so eternal.
