I was headed to the store next to this place when I saw that there was something new that had opened up. I walked into the store and I couldn’t tell if they were officially open or not. It looked really cute and I was excited to check it out. There were a few people in there but no one said hi or even bothered to tell me that they were not open(if they weren’t). I stood their for a few seconds hoping that someone would acknowledge me. Nope. Will not be going back.

CLOSED? I dont know if they are closed, out of town or or just bad business folks but i could not get a return call after leaving a few messages. I left voice mails and emailed for several weeks. Every time I called no one answered! Disappointing.

I recently booked couple items for my upcoming wedding through Sbsv and they have been amazing. I worked with Lisa, who owns the place and she is a sweetheart. Lisa not only responded very quickly to emails, but she was really accommodating to our needs. The furniture and antique pieces she carried were beautiful and most of all it was at an affordable cost. I will update once my wedding is over, but so far the experience has been amazing. Definitely check this place out if you are looking for accent pieces in your wedding or looking to borrow all vintage furniture.

I am still on the hunt for affordable vintage rental furniture pieces, and it seems like I am getting close with Something Borrowed, Something Vintage! I have not used them for any event, nor I have booked them for my wedding yet. I am still doing my research. Lisa, the owner, is quick to reply via email,(most is a day later), despite the holidays. I finally met with her at her warehouse and she seemed friendly, helpful and very flexible. Her warehouse is a good size, I’d like to think she has most of the things you would need. From multiple sofas to tables, vintage luggages and china, she even has a escort card holder made from a door which is very cute. She is also very flexible with all the décor. I had wanted a large white frame, but her largest was in gold. She had offered to paint it for me to suit my décor/needs. She also told me how to make my escort cards etc, to fit the frame. She even measured the frames and furniture for me to ensure it suits my needs. She rents per piece, but does offer a discounted package when you rent more. Her charge for delivery is comparable to the other vendors I have inquired about, but she does have a set-up fee per hour. She mentions, though, that if I have a wedding coordinator, then set-up would not be required. I also like the fact that she only does one event per day, and that you wouldn’t have to worry if one item would not be available since another client would be using it. If I decide on booking with Lisa, I will be sure to post pics and update this review!
