If I could give them less stars I would! Horrible experience!!! They have sales people that work on commission and are more interested in the sale than the quality and timeframe. Go with a smaller company that you can buy direct from and you will save time and money!!!

I have never had such poor customer service in my entire life. I had our entire house outfitted with blinds through Home Depot, which I don’t recommend either because they contract to people like Pinnacle Window Coverings. I started this process MONTHS ago and have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
The first time they came out I eagerly watched their installer go from window to window, delighted with finally having some shade in our home. The first problem arose when he got to the two windows near the front of the house. We have an odd situation there where the stairs cross in front of the windows, so they had both been mismeasured (they were measured from where the stairs cross them rather than from the top). He told me not to worry and that they would fix it, that because it was the fault of the measurer that it would definitely not cost me any more money. He put up one of the mismeasured blinds anyway, telling me that having the mount there would make it easier for the next guy to come in. He then asked me to sign the paperwork so that he could leave.
This next part is MY fault. Why? Because I trusted that he would straight up lie to me. Reading over the papers before signing them, I piped up that it said to sign that the job had been finished. He hurriedly told me «oh no, that just means for today! I’ve already listed for the blinds to be reordered. We will be calling you as soon as they’re in, but I need you to sign to say that I finished the work that I did today.» I should have said no, that I’m not signing anything until the job IS done, but the guy was nice and I trusted him, so I signed it. He left and I didn’t hear back from them.
So a month later I finally call, asking when our blinds will be ready, only to find that every person I talk to is completely confused as to why I’m calling. He never reported ANYTHING to them, and if it weren’t for me taking pictures of my windows where one blind only goes down half way and the other has cardboard in it they wouldn’t have even believed me. You’d think that this is why I’m leaving a scathing review right? It couldn’t get any worse than that! Well keep reading, because I’m the kind of person who believes in letting people make a bad experience better.
After about another month of me trying to insist that they honor what their installer told me and them insisting that because my order was signed for that they don’t have to do squat, we came to a compromise. The windows are identical, so they agreed to pay for one, because the blind was missing for it, but not the other, because apparently half a blind is the same as a job well done. I argued that their measurer really should have known how to measure a window (considering that is his entire job and that the window is clearly visible in its entirety from our front door) but they insisted further that no, half a window covering was all I was getting out of them for that window. Furthermore, they would not take the price of the previously paid for blind out of the new one, because they can’t reuse the old blind. Begrudgingly I agreed to paying for one of them, another $ 180, so believe me when I say I had already spent over $ 2000 and wasn’t happy to be spending more for what I thought I had already paid for, but I was relieved to have closure on the matter and to finally have the cardboard out of our window.
Still later, about another month (for those of you counting, we had been dealing with this order for about four months, when you include the initial time spent waiting for our blinds to be made), the happy day finally arrives when the installer comes to put in our blinds. He puts up one, then remarks that he doesn’t have the right equipment to put up the other one because its positioning wasn’t marked on the paperwork, but that he would go right now and tell them. This time he didn’t even ask me to sign anything, so I can only assume the first guy really did just want to rip me off. He leaves and I schedule them to come out again, which they can’t do for another week. Fine. I’m annoyed, but FINE. Just come and finish it so we can be done PLEASE.
Now that brings me to today. I slept late and am woken up by the door, which as soon as I hear it I rush downstairs to go let them in. To their very minor credit they didn’t evaporate when I wasn’t there on the first knock. I let them in, two guys this time and they start looking at what they’re going to try to do. It doesn’t fit. After all this, the blind won’t go up there. Now I’m just stunned, trying to ask him some questions. I point out that the previous blinds lay flush into the window opening and realize the two new ones are different. I start asking him why the new ones are different and he just mumbles he doesn’t know and that he’s going to leave. I told him I’ve spent a lot of money with his company and to please humor my concerns to which he WALKS OUT of my home and drives away! WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER.

Zero stars is more like it. We have had a terrible experience with Pinnacle Window Coverings. The first 5 solar shades they installed looked ok, so I ordered some more. Then the pulls started to break. They took forever to install most of the second order. The salesman told me they were having trouble with the quality of their supplier and he noticed that many of the previously installed blinds were crooked or excessively long. He ordered an upgraded version for all the blinds. There seemed to be no communication between the salesperson and the owner of the business. Months went by and no blinds. I would call and get a total run around. I filed with the BBB and finally asked Pinnacle to take down all the blinds and refund us our money. I still haven’t heard from them, so I guess we’ll have to take them to small claims court. Do not use this company!

I Have to admit, I was a little bit skeptical being that this was a Home Depot contracted install. I rarely have good luck with big box purchases and subcontracted installs. However, Pinnacle was great to work with. They called me immediately to set up an installation date and they called and confirmed the day before. Jason the installer was professional, friendly, and super efficient. He had two blinds up and the old ones disposed of in the blink of an eye. Well done Jason!

My installer, Jason, is a class act! Great customer service and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the best it can be. If I owned the company, I would want all employees to spend a day with Jason to ensure all followed his ways. Thank you, Jason!

This company installed our Home Depot purchased blinds. David did an awesome job. He was very professional and efficient, had the utmost respect for our home and is very knowledgeable. Much more helpful than the person we purchased the blinds from at HD. Thank you, David!

David from Pinnacle just installed two motorized shades in windows that are 10 feet off the ground — he did an EXCELLENT job and showed me how to use the remote… he showed up on time and was finished fast… I can only recommend this company most highly if you are looking for window coverings.

Pinnacles owner and employees were super polite, prompt and very knowledgeable! We will be using them again! I’ve already referred them out to my mom, who is also very happy! Construction & Remodeling is hard enough, having contractors that make the process easier is always nice!

We are a busy family and my husband works a lot. We bought a fixer upper house and have learned that is pays to have someone do some of the work for and have it done right the first time. We have nothing but good to say about Pinnacle. There is a a great selection to choose from and the finished product was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to anyone.

One star is one too many. Called on a Friday and said they’de be out here Monday morning… Called Monday afternoon and they told me that they’ll be here Tuesday morning… Called Tuesday afternoon and they said they’ll be here Wednesday at 8AM… They call at 8AM and said they’ll be late, and will be here at noon… I call at 3PM and they said that they didn’t want to come out here if we weren’t serious about purchasing from him. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! I’m not the one that kept not showing up! The guy didn’t want to come out here and do all the measuring if we were going to get other quotes and potentially end up not purchasing from him. I ended up hanging up on him.

Believe it or not we were using clothespins and translucent white tablecloths for window coverings in our bedrooms for 5 months before we finally got fed up and decided to get blinds.
We got a quote through our local Home Depot which subcontracts to this company. The process to finalize the order dragged, but that’s Home Depot’s fault not Pinnacle’s. Lead time was 3 – 4 weeks. Had a few questions for the company directly, and initially encountered some long hold times, but the owner immediately addressed this and put in a new automated call-​routing system.
Both the guy who came out to measure our windows and the guy who ultimately installed our blinds were nice and professional. We’re satisfied with the white faux wood texture we chose which has a clean and elegant look to it.
My reason for the –1, actually a –1.5 is that the small plastic cylinder that contains the cords that draw open the blinds occasionally snaps open into two halves, and thus the one cord you hold on to can snap free when you pull it, which is a fail. I try to snap the components back together, and still they easily come apart. What a poor design!
Another –0.5 for the rod that adjusts the tilt of the blind panels. Now granted this is not their fault, but rather mine for choosing it in the first place. The turning mechanism of the rod is so old-​school and time-​consuming that I wish I had gone with the double-​drawstring, which in my opinion should be the only option. Home Depot, the vendor that connected me with Pinnacle, should’ve swayed me in that direction. In addition, the rods are already slightly warped instead of straight. Oh well. Not that big of a deal I guess. Overall I’m just happy not to have tablecloths covering my windows.

I wish I could rate this company zero stars. The experience that we had with them was horrible. We ordered our blinds through Lowes and they were to be installed by Pinnacle. We were given a 4 hour window of 8am to 12am. I waited at home by my phone. No call. Lowes tried to contact them and left multiple messages. No response. What kind of a company just completely ignores a customer for an entire day??? Thanks for WASTING A BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY MORNING FOR ME, Pinnacle!

Had a very good experience. The people were great to work with and the installation was efficient and clean. We ordered the faux 2−½ shutters for all the windows and they look better than expected. The rooms seem larger and more open.
We would definitely recommend this company.

It makes me so sad to ever have to rate a business this low, but I have to. I’m at my wit’s end! I went to Home Depot to buy blinds. Simple task you might think… and I was told it would be a 3 – 4 week process from beginning to end. Well, it’s now been over 3 months and my install is not complete. I wish I could say it was because I did something wrong or forgot to do something, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. I’m not going to go into Home Depot’s mistakes because that’s not fair to Pinnacle, so, I’ll start with the first measurement…
1. Guy came out to measure my windows. It was supposed to take 3 business days to reflect in the system so that I can place the order. After a week, i called Home Depot to figure out where we’re at in the progress. After 2 weeks from the day the guy came out to measure, i’m informed that he never showed up to work after coming to my house.
Please note: I was still not upset, because things happen and it’s not necessarily he company’s fault that their employee quit.
2. They send out a 2^nd guy to do measurements and rush my order. He was fantastic and super apologetic (manager or owner, don’t remember exactly who he was). So, they call me after a few weeks and schedule to come out for the install. The guy who came for the install brought the blinds, but no wands. Ok, he’s going to come back with the wands another day.
3. It took another week for someone to call me to schedule and another week for someone else to come out and put on the wands. However, the guy that came brought 12 wands for 14 windows. On top of that, one wand was broken. So, he only installed 11 wands and needed to bring back 3 wands.
4. After another two weeks of waiting for someone to call me and schedule and an additional week for someone to come by to bring THREE wands… that’s it. Let me be clear: no need to install, no need for anything else. Just dropping off three wands. No one ever showed up. So, understandably so, I called them heated and am still waiting for the guy to drop off the wands.
You have to understand that it took FIVE days for me to block 3 hour time frames for them to come here… That’s FIVE days of taking the day off and FIVE days that i wasted. Don’t get me wrong, every single one of these guys was super nice, but no one seems to be able to get the job right. I will never do business with this company or Home Depot again. It makes me sad, because as I said, all super nice people, but I’m tired of sitting around and waiting for someone to be able to do their job right.

After shopping around and getting a couple of estimates we decided to go with Pinnacle. They seemed the most knowledgable and my wife and I felt they would do a good job. We weren’t disappointed. They were prompt, and the install was fast and clean. I hate when work men just come in make a mess and leave like it’s ok because the work was completed. All around they were a nice company to have in my home and the shutters came out great.
