SDI’ customer service is decent enough, but they do not maintain their equipment. It takes repeated calls for service before they come out to the site to look at their equipment. They also close out service tickets by stating that they have made repairs, which have never taken place. Our Coop is currently reviewing the SDI contract in an effort to cancel service. We are actively looking for another provider. I would not recommend SDI as a laundry service provider.

This company operates the washers and dryers in our building. They are awful. Each week a different washer breaks down. They don’t actually fix things properly or replace the machines when needed. It is hard to reach someone directly to complain. All you can do is put in service requests online and hope that they come and fix the machine.

SDI seems to a decent job maintaining their equipment, and their business model has potential to be customer friendly /convenient. HOWEVER, having the to use their laundry cards is painful. I just misplaced a card with a $ 30 balance and the company states that it does not track the balance of the card, and they will not transfer the money from my lost card to another card. For such a sophisticated system of payment, i find that not protecting their customers accounts is a HUGE fault. I will be taking by business elsewhere moving forward…
