Palisade Nails Salon

I frequented Palisade Nails back in the day when I lived in the area, and had acrylic tips. Now I come here occasionally to get my eyebrows waxed.
Environment: A bit cluttered and fussy, and the neighbourhood is dodgy as sin, but I generally ignore the surroundings.
Service: Great. The staff are down to earth and treat the customers like old friends.
As mentioned, I get my eyebrows waxed here, and they are… complex. They have random bald patches because I over plucked them in the 90s and 00s. I usually have to use a brow pencil to fill in the bald spots.
I had been studying for a board exam the last few months, so my eyebrows grew out due to lack of grooming. Last night, I went to Palisade Nails to get finally get them waxed. The young lady took me in right away, and did a really great job waxing and shaping them, despite them being a bit uneven. I don’t even have to use brow pencil at all, or tweeze them into shape myself, as I have done when I went to other places. Most of all they charge a whopping $ 6 for a brow wax.
