I know it is the holiday season but walking into this store will turn any Santa into a Grinch. This location desperately needs Santa’s elves. I went there last night to pick up a skirt which was only available there. This location is busy but nothing like their flagship(my favorite) store which is on 58th& Lex. I visit that one often and those employees have me in and out in record time. I swear they must time themselves. They are always fast, nice and dressed beautifully. This one is just a sad blast from pre-online ordering past… dial-up not included. Some employees looked lethargic while others wore the completely crazed mask. To dampen the mood even more, some of them wore black and white horizontal striped shirts which made them look like prisoners in the store. They have several registers but only two were open… by the slowest snails NY&Co could dig from the grave. When I saw the line winding to the back of the store, I decided to confirm if they were still holding my order. The young girl looks up and says«I guess so if you got a confirmation.» Sorry, «I guess so» isn’t 100% for me especially if the line closely resembles The Great Wall of China. I hunt down another prisoner who was nice enough to check their closet and pull my order. I go back to my spot in the line which had not moved in the ten minutes I was away. You know its bad when people are saying«Let’s go to H&M» as they leave the line and drop the clothes on the floor. While I was in the Never Ending Line, I picked up a pretty blouse from the rack. I saw it wasn’t at its best so when I FINALLY(literally ONE hour later?!) got to the register, I asked for a discount… I got 10%(about $ 1.50) off. Not so bad until they say if the stains don’t come off, I can’t return it. I did a mini test and it looked promising so I purchased it. I didn’t realize until I got home that Miss«I guess so» forgot to take off the security tag from the shirt! Fortunately, I can go to Lex and have them take care if it. I love this chain but at this point, you should be paying me to visit this location. What seriously needs to happen here is NY&Co should send their flagship girls there and show them how to properly run the store. I recommend this store as one of the best torture methods against a boyfriend or crazy friend.

You guys have to get it together up in here! On my recent visit to this store I stood in line to purchase 3 items for 15 minutes! Unacceptable! I got off the line, put the items down and walked out the store! Lines in this store are ALWAYS long and the waiting time is unacceptable! This is poor customer service! If New York & Company value their customers you need an overhaul within your cashier department! Until this store can get it together with picking up the pace at check-out I’m taking my dollars over to Macys & Bebe!!!

I have a 4 year old on Autism Spectrum. To looks, he is very neurotypical but he is hyperactive, so can not stand still at one place. We visited this store today with our son. Usually, he just runs around the store but today, he wanted to be near the windows. There was a BIG bannger hanging from the ceiling on tenuous thread. As I tried to get him away from the window, somehow his little touch was enough to get that banner down. He did not pull the banner. Of course, I got upset but one of the employee at the store was VERY nasty, «That is the reason, you do not go near the window.» I absolutely get her reason for getting upset but for god sake, this is a 4 year old. She could have expressed her dissatisfaction but was it necessary to be so nasty? I am not saying that what my son did was right but those who have children with Autism, know perfectly what it is like but her nastiness was through roof. And this is not the first time, few employees at this store are nasty. A while ago, my wife bought something and she wanted to return but they did not accept the return. The person at the register told her very rudely to contact the office in the city. Contacting the office was totally an ‘experience’ but I can not stand their nastiness anymore. I would certainly ask my wife to shop somewhere else.

With the up beat music and lights in the store, I didn’t know whether to dance or shop with my wife, I like sharing the expirence with her and helping her with her shopping needs but as we all know that us men love the expess way, pickup what you like and let’s leave. But if the music is good, well I’ll hang for a while. Service was excellent and the cashier was on point, that’s what I love get me out as fast as you can.
