So although I’ve mentioned that I wouldn’t come back, a bunch of friends came over to Yonkers so we decided to try the AYCE sushi once again. Our table had 5 people for AYCE and remembering our experience from last time, we ordered less rolls and more sashimi. To our surprise, both the rolls and sashimi arrived around the same time. I also noticed the rolls were«less packed» with rice, though still large. The sashimi wasn’t the freshest I’ve had but they delivered! All-in-all, everyone in our table was satisfied with the meal and the price we paid for it.

I love their sushi. The service is good. The all you can eat is great. I go there just for that. It’s very tasty.

Was expecting way better food the prices were high compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area they even had the nerve to charge me $ 0.50 extra for spicy mayonnaise which is petty. The waitress kept hovering over us I don’t think I will be back very disappointed I’ll go somewhere else next time and don’t be fooled by the half off your check offer that is total BS as soon as you walk in there is a big sign saying they don’t honor the Unilocal coupon turn back while you can!

OMG, hello and why haven’t I eaten here sooner? Buffet is clean and fresh! And this definitely fills my cravings for sushi when I can’t make it down to NYC for my favorite spot — this place is only a 5 min walk from my apt and usually its not that crowded during the week nights. Love Love Love!

I read quite a few reviews and was almost discouraged to go here but tried it anyway. First off, they don’t take the Unilocal coupons and it is posted as soon as you walk in! The service was speedy and the wait staff was very nice. The place is very romantic and dimly lit. The only downside to this place was that they don’t serve mixed drinks. The sushi was extremely fresh and soooo tasty! The Bombai was also a great dessert.

Came here to pick up some sushi! I loved the sushi and pick up service. Went back to dine in with my husband and the service was very slow and food was just ok.

Usually I never do local sushi restaurants because of the fear that the food isn’t fresh. But, this fish smelled and tasted freshly caught. The restaurant has a grown and sexy feel to it. Very relaxing atmosphere, quiet except for the music and occasional chatter. Food is fast, fresh and reasonably priced. The all you can eat sushi is $ 20.99 on weekdays and $ 21.99 on weekends. They make the food right across from you. The only con is they charge you to bring home the sushi if you can’t finish it and they have a sign that states they will charge you $ 2 for any piece of rice left on the plate uneaten.

Place looks empty. Food and service was good and presentable. I would eat here again. They don’t honor the Unilocal discount.

My fiancé and I came here late on a Friday night, and the ambiance was perfectly relaxed. Not too busy or loud, no one running around. We didn’t realize the sushi buffet was an around-the-clock option, so we ordered things off the regular menu. NOTE: Upon entrance there’s a big sign that says they don’t honor the Unilocal discount. We didn’t know about it so didn’t care, but just a heads up if you’re planning on using it. We got the Sweet heart maki initially for the ingredients, but it was not only delicious, it was also beautifully put together. We also got the spicy combo maki, a platter that brought rolls of spicy tuna, salmon, and some other fish. All were pretty good and comparable to other good sushi we’ve had at other places. We got calamari as an appetizer and that was okay. In retrospect we should’ve gotten something else because it was nothing to write home about. Not bad, just not memorable. For dessert, we got this coconut gelato that actually gets served inside of a coconut, and it was AMAZING. From presentation to actual taste, it was fantastic. We got a random side of pork gyoza and even that was great. Wasn’t too oily like we’ve seen at other places and had the right amount of crisp. Really well done. Overall, this definitely won’t be our last visit there.

I tried Khangri when they opened a few years ago but don’t really remember the experience. So I ordered pick up two weeks ago and was very pleased! We had the chicken katsu lunch box and a variety of rolls(eel & avocado, spicy crunchy salmon, and spicy tuna). Everything was pretty good and the portions were decent for the price. I would order from them again!

Disclaimer: this is a review of the AYCE only and this is the only AYCE sushi place I’ve ever been too. Have been to many sushi buffets however. I have been here about three times and it somewhat does the job to satisfy that sushi craving if you can’t get to your favorite sushi buffet(Mizumi in Queens for me). I’ll be honest and say the sushi is not all that great but included with the AYCE is hot food and that is what I like about it. Not sure if this is typical at all AYCE sushi places. Again, the hot food is not the best but I like the tofu and shrimp tempura, udon, beef ribs, gyoza, and raw appetizers. The sushi on the other hand is another story. The salmon, clam and squid sashimi are okay. Egg custard was very bad. Tasted like it was just thawed from the freezer. The maki and special rolls have way too much rice in it so be careful of what you order because they will charge you for any leftover rice. I only order the sashimi and some rolls and never get the sushi because you have more than enough rice in the rolls. Also, if they think you can’t finish your food, they will stop your orders and will not bring out anymore food that you order. I was there with a few people and we ordered a bunch of rolls. The guys wanted some meat and sauce to go with the extra rice in the rolls so they ordered some ribs and stuff from the kitchen. The guys put in the order when they got the sushi platter and three quarters of the way through the sushi platter, they were waiting on the meat. We had to ask the waitress where the hot food order we put in half an hour ago was. Three minutes later, they started coming out. To the waitress’s surprise, we cleaned up the food! Oh, I should also mention, they charged half price on the AYCE for my 4 year old daughter who eats like a mouse! That’s about $ 11 for her. Adult price on the weekend is about $ 22. The sushi buffet I love in Queens which charges about $ 34 for dinner on the weekends for adults charges me only $ 8 for her and they have a huge selection of food including king crab legs and raw clams and oysters! In my opinion, they over charge for a toddler. Bottom line, I only go here when I am very desperate for sushi. Do not order too many rolls as they have too much rice in it. Oh and avoid the dragon eel roll, it has way too much cucumber in it and barely any eel.

Soo yummy. Love love love the shrimp tempura and philly rolls. Prepare to only order what you can finish as they will charge you for any uneaten food.

Rolls are all rice, barely any filling. I felt like I was being watched eating and even though I appreciated the waitress not letting me order the third roll, its a scam bc you can get better quality rolls for th 25 dollars you spend here. If you want to eat nothing but rice and some sauce drizzled on top great. The better part was the sashimi and pork ribs. The ribs were not very tender but very tasty. Also the shrimp tempura, alot of tempura not much shrimp, but tasty and crunchy. Also there was a lady sucking on a chicken bone and did not give up… im like juat eat the damn bone while youre at it.

REVIEWOFALL-YOU-CAN-EATSUSHIONLY! Alright. Sushi is not cheap. so when I talk about quality here — its in comparison with similarly priced«all you can eat» places in the city . Now being said that here is my review: The Good: Service !. Very nice servers. attentive and fast ! The Bad: Sushi — well. its bad. even when compared to the average all-you can-eat places. The quality is inferior … and their sushi /rolls have an incredibly huge amount of rice compared to the actual fish /meat. thus resulting in you getting filled up very quickly with the rice ! AND no wonder they have a stern warning on each table that even a piece of rice left on plate will be charged extra! The rest of the stuff was ok… nothing great. The BBQ squid and teriyaki snapper. were particularly bad . Bottom-line _not for me …

As soon as you walk in there is a big sign that says they did away with the Unilocal discount lol so one cannot get 30% off the entire check. The environment itself is cool and dim. Staff is affable and easy to approach. Had the all you can eat for about 23 bucks but tip is included in the bill so it came out to about 30 bucks per. When we would order from the sushi menu and the kitchen menu, sometimes they would occasionally forget maybe one or two things we wrote down. I only noticed because I’m a savage and eat for a small village, but that’s besides the point. Aside from that the food was beyond delicious and it came out at a decent pace. Definitely recommend the yonkers roll, ribs, on and basically everything. Yeah everything.

Im a regular here! Im here almost every week and every time i came, i walk out with a smile on my face, full and contented. They have the all you can eat for 1 price. But please dont be greedy because you get charged for what you wasted and not finished. And i think that is a great policy. Too many people ordered so much food and then waste them. The sushi is pretty decent and the food from the kitchen is always on point. I never find any problems with it. At times i skipped the all you can eat and ordered entrees from the menu and its excellent. Definitely a hidden gem. A great hang out spot when you dont feel like cooking. Their food comes out at a decent time too. Fast and fresh! Definitely recommend it! 2 thumbs up!

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times and have ordered takeout as well. If you’re like me who’s not a big fan of sushi, you will like this place. They have a good selection of foods to choose from besides sushi. I really Liked the Yonkers Roll which has Shrimp and rice, doesn’t taste fishy which is good because I’m not really a seafood fanatic. What i like the most is the Beef Ribs from the all you can eat menu. They are fantastic. The seaweed salad is also very refreshing. The restaurant is a dimly lit but very clean but not overly glamorous. The staff is friendly and pay very good attention to you, and clean up after you right away. TIP-Make sure if you’re getting the all you can eat, to not over order because they charge you for food that is NOT eaten. Otherwise i would recommend!
