PARADISELOSTFORADAM&EVESALON! This was once my favorite salon to get my hair cut and to get streaks and highlights done during my younger days. But as the years went on and the staff turned over, I found myself resenting the recurring bickering that would take place every time I came in there. God Forbid if you would want a different stylist than your last visit! You might have to endure the third degree from the jilted stylist before you are allowed to move on with your life and have the new person do your hair. Chances are that I was dissatisfied with their services and they were lucky I was a returning at all. There was a short period of time that I stopped going to ABC to give Adam & Eve another try, but after seeing that this place definitely needed Tabatha Coffey to give it a Takeover I realized that getting my haircut should be a relaxing experience and I shouldn’t have to deal with their intra-salon politics. After switching from my regular girl to one of the owners I was happy for a while. But like I said, the environment was toxic, so I stopped going there altogether. This past weekend I wanted to surprise my wife and come home with my eyebrows being done after my monthly haircut at ABC Yonkers Barbershop. I was getting my oil change and inspection done across the street and decided to walk-in to check them out after a long time away. The place was completely emptied out and looked like it was about to get gutted. I’m sure that the girls that used to work there will be scattered around the Yonkers area. Hopefully none of them will have to go to Supercuts, but that’s just what some of them deserved. Sorry Adam & Eve, maybe if you would have had a more professional atmosphere you will still be around. As for me, I’m glad I left when I did. All I wanted was a haircut, I should never have left there feeling buzzed.
