Just had a wonderful meal with friendly precious people. Ambiance was perfectly rustic & appropriate for the menu. Food was cooked to exact doneness. A little spicy — just as it should be. We look forward to passing this way again.

Rustic and clean place. There is now a menu on the window at the entry or you can go in and be seated to order. The shrimp Poboy is good and absolutely loaded with shrimp, you can hardly fold the sandwich there are so many shrimp. The fries are nicely fried. They have beer, wine, bottled water and soft drinks refrigerated case. There are picnic tables outside.

My husband and I were in town and looking for something local and interesting. There aren’t a ton of options around here that aren’t Chinese or chain, so we went for it. The menu is a good size with decent variety. In case it needs to be said: it’s all meat and fried food. I ordered the shrimp po boy with fries and house sauce on the side(lettuce, tomatoes, onion on the po boy). It was delicious! Somehow the fried shrimp didn’t seem too greasy and they were battered in a slightly peppery mixture that was subtle but noticeable. The bread was thick and toasted perfectly. The fries were fresh and salty. I don’t normally finish a whole meal, but I got pretty far with this one. My husband got fries and a steak sandwich and it was also delicious. The steak wasn’t thick, but it was a good size and juicy. Overall it was pretty simple food done really well. The atmosphere was odd but we liked it. There is a large outdoor seating area and then indoor seating that is somewhat sectioned off. There are random tables and decorations and stuff that makes it sort of feel like a garage, but it sort of adds to the homey feel. We would come back if ever in town. Oh, and the staff was really friendly.

Great place and food. It’s basically a shed that they built a covered porch around, but the décor is very Gulf Coast beachside and the air control is just fine. Ate on a 95 degree day and never uncomfortable. Unremarkable seasoning but huge portions. Service a bit slow but friendly. I had a crawfish tail po boy which was literally enough for two meals. A friend got a burger that must have been half a pound. Recommended, particularly for this area.

I was looking for a place that looked rustic on the outside and would have good food on the inside… this hit the bill. food was cheap… delicious and fast. very friendly crowd inside… what a seafood dive shack should be modeled after.
