Lower Makefield Township Community Pool

The LMT is great and it is the largest complete of pools I’ve seen in the area and you cannot beat the value it provides for Yardley residents but also also for non-​Yardley residents who want a great family pool for the summer.
The snack bar is pretty good except that it usually takes a long time for everything to be served. A long wait would be much more difficult to deal with of the food wasn’t good but it is. I just wish there would be a way to to get food orders to the patrons faster.
Overall, great pool!

The Pool is a great place for families and individuals to spend a late spring or sumer day. With so many pools, there is something for everyone! My family has belonged for over 5 years and we love it. Kids participate on the swim team, we have done lessons, movie nights, etc. Don’t miss this gem in Lower Makefield!

We are really happy that we got a family membership to LMT pool this past summer. It’s a nice, well maintained facility with plenty of parking and pool chairs for members, and the membership fee is very affordable for a family. Separate pool for toddlers, medium pool for bigger kids, and large adult sized pool with 2 slides at one end and 3 diving boards at the other. My kids love the slides, easily spend an hour just on that alone. The snack bar is ok, although I would avoid getting anything with «meat»… tried a burger and a hot dog at different times and both tasted questionable. Everything else is typical snack bar stuff. We usually bring a lunch and eat under the covered picnic tables. Definitely coming back next year!

Ok, I’m not a pool person but they have a separate baby pool, «kid» pool, lap pool and «whatever» pool (4 total) including a water slide and diving board. What I’m writing about is their snack bar. I am impressed. I have to say when my wife said «meet us for dinner at the pool» I was less than enthusiastic, especially considering my one-​hour drive home from work. I had a BLT with chicken (the regular BLT is quite popular) and it was decent. Then next time I tried a pork roll sandwich with cheese (decadent goodness) and a Buffalo chicken wrap (crispy, but you can also get grilled). They were both solid, and the wrap was huge. Way exceeded my expectations for a pool snack bar. The kids love their chicken nuggets and their fries are pretty darn good. I’m not at all a fast food person, and this snack bar’s food is fresh. The lettuce and tomatoes are like they are just picked, and the prices are reasonable. It might be hit or miss, but we’ve had more hits than misses for sure. Good job LMT.
