Specialties
Fairsing Vineyard is a sustainable grower of world-class Pinot noir and Chardonnay for outstanding winemakers in the Northern Willamette Valley.
Our estate-grown wines are hand-crafted in small quantities to compliment the finest fruit from our 38 acres of Pinot noir and two acres of Chardonnay.
Fairsing, which means «bountiful» in ancient Gaelic, reflects the plentiful resources of our diverse site. Our vineyard is nestled inside an 80-acre Certified Family Forest, distinguished by biodiversity, varied topography and panoramic views of the Northern Willamette Valley.
In 2012 Fairsing Vineyard joined forces with Robert Brittan, a leader in the international wine industry, to produce world-class Pinot noir and Chardonnay for Fairsing Vineyard. Robert has crafted wines for Far Niente Winery, St. Andrews Vineyard, Stags’ Leap Winery and his own label, Brittan Vineyards.
Fairsing Vineyard honors the merchant and farming traditions of our Irish ancestors by continuing to grow and offer the finest Oregon wines for generations to come.
We invite you to visit Fairsing Vineyard and celebrate family (Teaghlaigh), experience the bounty of our vineyard (Cre), and smile with us (Aoibh gaire) as you enjoy our estate-grown wines.
History
Established in 2005.
Fairsing Vineyard was established in the summer of 2005, when we purchased a quarter section of harvested forestland.
By October 2006 eighteen acres were successfully planted and trellised with the assistance of Oregon’s collegial winegrower community. Vineyard development continued at roughly 5.5 acres per year, to reach the current 38 acres of Pinot noir and two acres of Chardonnay in production.
Fairsing means «bountiful» in ancient Gaelic, reflecting the plentiful resources of our large, diverse site. There is a splendid range of microclimates across the vineyard. This diversity adds subtle complexities to our wines. Our ideal south to southeast site aspect combines with a varied topography to create unique maturation profiles.
«We continue to care for this land with sustainable agricultural practices to ensure that future generations can also enjoy its bounty.» — Sláinte, Mary Ann and Mike McNally

Business Owner
Mary Ann and Mike were born in Nebraska, raised their children in Texas and became Oregonians in the fall of 2007.
Fairsing Vineyard, planted high in the Oregon Coastal foothills, is where we combine the merchant and farming traditions of our Irish ancestors by growing and offering the finest Oregon wines for generations to come.
Our Celtic knot honors the circuitous journeys of our families out of Ireland, to America and now westward to Oregon. Within the knot we see the interconnected paths of our ancestors and the unification of these journeys that our vineyard represents.
