Specialties
We have Office Supplies, Art Supplies, Framing service and a complete Copy Center. We have the largest selection of office supplies in central Washington. We carry pens, envelopes, copy paper, tax forms, you name it. If it’s business-related, we probably have it!
Our copy center can copy documents up to 36″ wide in black and white or full color. We can also print banners and signs up to 48″ wide by most any length. We will also bind your reports or other documents. We specialize in cutting the binding off poorly-bound books and replacing it with a spiral binding to allow them to lay flat. Perfect for textbooks!
We can laminate from card size up to 29″ wide in a variety of weights.
Our Framing department can mount, mat and frame up to 4×8 feet. We carry a large selection of mat colors to compliment your picture or artwork.
We also carry a wide range of art supplies, from drawing pencils to oil paints. Of course, we carry canvas, boards, brushes and other supplies, too.
History
Established in 1904.
The Yakima Bindery was started by Walter F. Tuesley to make bound books for accounting. He quickly expanded into printing to improve his books. Later, he added office supplies to support a rapidly-growing Yakima. Over the years, the business was passed on to his son, G. Prescott Tuesley, then his grandson Richard P. Tuesley and now to his great-grandchildren, Prescott A. Tuesley and Cindy Friedt. During that time, the Bindery added Art Supplies, a Framing department and a Copy Center to meet the needs of the local business community.
