Barbers On The Ave opened on March 3^rd of 2012 as a new idea to bring back the old ways of the traditional barbershop. Catering to the professional who is tired of the big chain haircut place or the bad haircut from the family stylist. Many barbershops have strayed from the original and have become new school hip-​hop hangout spots where a real man just doesn’t feel at home but not this one. A good handshake, good conversation, a clean haircut, straight razor outline around the neck and ears, hairwash and style, aftershave and a quick shoulder rub is just a basic description of the standard service you can expect here. Business Owner

Born and raised in Yakima. Graduated from Eisenhower HS in 2007. Worked for the family business doing landscaping and tree removal, worked for the Yakima School District and did some medical interpreting before getting married and starting barber school in 2010. Licensed by the state of Washington as a barber on August 6, 2011 and worked at a local barbershop before opening my own business. Happy to be working in the community where I was raised and hoping to stick around for a long time. Thank you for your support.
