Hands down the best jewelry experience in the area. You need to ask for Kay. She is very knowledgeable and didn’t try to up-sell me.

Decided to stop in while engagement ring shopping. Absolutely awful experience. The cranky old lady that begrudgingly helped me didn’t shake my hand. Didn’t ask my name. Didn’t ask about the woman that I intended to marry. I guess a 25 year old«kid» wouldn’t exactly bring in the amount of business she wanted. I already had a ring in mind, and explained it in fairly great detail. None of the rings she decided to show me were even close to what I was asking for. Found one that was vaguely what I was looking for. Price of the band was more than I intended on paying for the ring(it was at least $ 1000 overpriced), but I decided to keep playing along. She asked what diamond I was looking for, and scoffed at the fact that I «knew what I was looking for». Then had the audacity to ask if I wanted her to pull out some diamonds to see. Yeah, no thanks. You really didn’t want my business anyway.

Took a cheap Timex Ironman watch in to have a battery change. There were three not good things that stood out: 1) «Oh that takes a lithium battery, those cost more, $ 13.» A two-pack of the battery is $ 4.50, but the instructions from Timex say have a jeweler replace it. It sounds ot me like the jeweler bumps up the price of the battery, in addition to charging for the«labor» to replace it . 2) Upon getting the watch back(in 15 minutes, gotta say good job there), the watch band fell off when I was driving away. Turned around in the PL, go back in, they fix it. OK. 3) The chime and beeper(for the lap/countdown timer) on the watch now does not work after getting the battery replaced. It worked the day before I took it in. Unfortunately, it was a few days and 50 miles away when I discovered this.
