I believe when spending a lot of money on a shoe you should be treated a little better. I walked in there and just got a bad vibe from the start the attitudes I can’t describe unfriendly, snobby, borderline rude. I ended up driving right over to FootSolutions in Kenhorst and had a much pleasurable experience!

I had a great initial experience with the owners wife and son. I had a return and purchased another pair of sandals. I returned sneakers and other sandals. Owner yelled at me asking me why I bought them if I didn’t like them. Flipped about my podiatrist saying I can’t wear the walking shoes. He said I wore them and asked if I’d buy dirty shoes. I said I’d keep them. He said that this was the last time he’ll do a return for me. He said now he’s losing money on those sneakers that he can’t sell them. He doesn’t work for a podiatrist. I was so upset. I cried at the register as his polite son apologized on his behalf and did my return. I will NEVER step foot in there again. Very rude customer service. Quality shoes. I’d go online and buy them. Don’t waste your time. This 3rd stop in there ruined it for me. I’ve never been talked or treated so horrible by a store employee, yet owner in my life. I’ll never recommend that place to anyone. Oh and side note… I HAD to give at least one star. They get ZEROSTARS.

Like Kristen, I also wanted to get a wide Dansko and they refused to order one for me as well. I contacted Dansko and they then referred me to Nature’s Garden. Nature’s Garden ordered the shoe for me immediately and called me within 3 days to say they had received it!

With a small wide foot, getting something that fits depends on the ‘last’ that the manufacturer uses and a shoe store that has my size. Perry measured my foot, after listening to my complaint that I need to buy ‘too small’ shoes to shift the ‘toe box’ back to where my foot begins to get wide(or the shoes will forever pinch at the instep). The SOS shoes that he brought out for me to try(you can’t buy shoes by ‘knowing your size’) are the most comfortable that I’ve ever owned. When I called to order another pair(in black) Dean(the owner’s son) told me that they’d call me when they were in. «Don’t you need…» «Nope, we have everything in your file; just pay for them when you come to get them.» I’ve never had a shoe store do that before. Perhaps some day they’ll have work boots.

Been a customer for years and have always found the owner care more about the correct shoe with the correct fit. They would rather not sell a pair of shoes than to not fit someone properly. Real old fashion service.

My mom stopped in one evening a few weeks ago to see if I could have a pair of Dansko’s ordered for me. I had tried a few different sizes on in other stores but I needed a wide width. The salesman told her that he would absolutely not order a wide width because«everyone» he ordered them for was dissatisfied with the wide width and ended up returning them. My mom tried to explain that I had tried them on before and knew I needed the wide width etc. to no avail. According to her he was also quite rude. I ended up ordering a pair at The Walking Company at Park City Mall and have been completely happy with them. Apparently not«everyone» is dissatisfied with the wide width… and he lost out on a sale.
