Awful customer service. Upon walking in and making my way towards the back, I passed many associate. Some sitting, some walking. Most made eye contact. Not one greeted me or offered assistance.

Unfortunately not impressed. I was referred to this store by a friend who had had a great experience so I was excited to go here and buy our new washer and dryer. We were greeted by a salesman who was nice enough, but couldn’t tell us anything about the washer dryers. When we asked what he recommended and what brands they received service requests on often he stated he couldn’t tell us, implying he knew but wouldn’t say. When we asked about their parts and labor warranty and what it covered he simply said, «parts and labor» while giving us a blank stare. After continuing to hit a wall every time we asked him for information we decided to leave as we felt we weren’t getting anywhere. We were prepared to make the purchase there, but we could not feel confident about our decision due to the salesman’s responses. Needless to say we went to another store nearby and made our purchase easily.

Well, my experience with this company was quite different in the type service I needed compared to other reviewers here on Unilocal,but as the 5 star ratings shows they exceeded my expectations. I live in an apartment complex in Holland and in the laundry room there is a sign that says if there are problems with the machines to call Gerrit’s and it lists their number. One of the dryers was missing one of the fins (don’t know what they are called) in the drum of the dryer and it left 2 pointy screws sticking out to where it could snag peoples clothes and damage them. I was not at all optimistic that by calling anything would be done, but I needed the problem fixed so I called the number listed on the sign. I explained the problem to a nice lady who said she’d have it fixed. Being the pessimist that I am I thought to myself yeah that’s never going to happen. I was very pleasantly surprised to see when I checked about 5 days later that the fin inside the dryer drum had been replaced and there was no longer the risk of clothes getting snagged and ruined. Any company that responds that fast to a call from an apartment dweller in another city is one that you can feel confident that they will take care of all of their customers. Keep up the great work Gerrit’s!!!

Last spring I ordered their Stainless Steel appliance package — stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. They held my order until I was ready. Had them installed today and it went flawlessly. The two young men who did the delivery were very careful and concerned about dust and water. They took the fridge to the basement and took the other appliances away with them. I would highly recommend Gerrit’s. The price was right and installation easy

Just bought a brand new washer & dryer from these folks and they were awesome. The salesman we had was super patient and answered all my questions and helped me find exactly what was best for me and within my budget. No pressure at all unlike a few of their competitor’s. I will def be back for future needs. Their prices were really good as well and for being Black Friday I was surprised at how fast and friendly everyone was. Def check them out.
