I came to this bagel shop because it’s next to the organic dry cleaner where I have my clothes done.
I met a friend here for lunch hoping that it would be fast.
First off, the guy behind the counter seemed to have no idea what he was doing.
I told him what I wanted, and twice I had to stop him because he was putting the wrong thing on it, or leaving something I ordered off.
He claimed that he didn’t hear me, but my friend who was standing next to me said that I did in fact order correctly.
My friend then ordered food (the man seemed to be only capable of handling one customer at a time).
We ate, and our food was «ok». Nothing really special.
I tried to order a tuna melt before I left, but the guy didn’t seem to understand and literally just handed me a tuna salad bagel with some swiss cheese on it…
In the end he OVERCHARGED me for my bagel, because they had it up on their board as a specialty sandwich for $ 7 (all I did was order it without cheese) and he charged me $ 7.50 for it.
Didn’t realize it till I had already paid, and didn’t think he would get it anyway.
Overall, I have yet to find a good bagel in the area.

The service and selection shine in this place. Nestled in a little shopping center across from Wostbrock Flooring, it’s actually a clean shop with some seating. Everything I’ve tried is okay, but doesn’t come close to Bagel Emporium just around the corner (now reopened!).
