A friend and I wanted to stop by here after the gym to get some chocolate, when we arrived they weren’t opened yet. We got there around 10:30, and they didn’t open until 11. The girls opened up the store for us, seeing we were with our two toddler girls! Amazing customer service! They were extremely friendly and accommodating even though they were not supposed to be open yet. Not only are they extremely friendly, the chocolate is amazing!!!

These guys serve Jane’s ice cream(small-batch ice cream made in the Hudson Valley– NOT factory-made like another reviewer said), and it is OUTSTANDING. My favorites are Milk Chocolate(the best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had!) and Salty Caramel Pretzel. I also love the seasonal Currants and Cream flavor, and Strawberry is pretty good as well. My husband’s favorite is Gingersnap Molasses. The Coffee flavor actually tastes like coffee, if you’re into that– it’s too strong for me. The Killer Chocolate flavor is also a bit much for me. I’m hoping Lulu’s gets in some of the other flavors shown on Jane’s website– keeping my fingers crossed for Lavender, Hazelnut Fudge, Chai, and Pumpkin. This is really just a review of the ice cream. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it for us(we LOVE ice cream) as an occasional treat. I haven’t tried Lulu’s candy, and didn’t love their frozen yogurt– it tasted sort of chemical-y to me… but the ice cream is top notch, and I’ll keep coming back for it!

Lulu’s is the best ice cream in the area, hands down! Their ice cream flavors are so unique, and their chocolates are always fresh and satisfying. The caramel apples are like no other. I definitely recommend the chocolate-covered oreos and pretzels. AND the staff is friendly! What more could you ask for?

This place is the best. Marylou(the owner) is the sweetest lady who always tries to do right by you. Took my order and told me all the options on the phone. I placed a personalized order for my boyfriends birthday and she delivered it within the hour to his house in wyckoff. The service is on point and everything tasted great. This is a must try if you are in the area and always nice to encounter a small business with big personality and great customer service

What a wonderful place! Spotlessly clean, beautiful chocolates & fudge. The smell inside alone is worth the trip! Such a welcoming helpful staff who allowed us to sample the extraordinary ice cream selections until we could choose! The pecan praline & the key lime are exceptional! An old fashioned counter where we could sit and enjoy our selections and even watch the chocolates & fudge being made. We will be back again & again.

The smell of the home made waffle just make a you want to eat it all. Had a small waffle cone with the wyckoff mud. It was like cookies and cream with Carmel. Ice cream was good but the waffle cone was a bit sweet for me. They also sell fudge and other sweets.

It has good food and great ice cream, but it’s a little pricey. Even though it is, you can go there every once in a while if you feel like it. They also make treats there, but when we first went, we asked the workers if they also make there ice cream, they said it was factory made. Too bad too.

two words: toasted coconut Tried the toasted coconut flavored iced cream(#2 on their list) not too sweet and the coconut bits were crispy and .wait for it… chocolate covered! I am not a sweets fan and I will say this flavor is by far one of my favorites of all time. One downside was it was a bit melty but nothing a few degrees of chilled air can’t fix.‘ My hubs got the strawberry milkshake #dessertfail it’s basically the old school way of making shakes with vanilla scoops and the strawberry syrup. If you’re into that then great otherwise it’s a super sweet treat less strawberry and more sugar. I’ll definitely come back to try the chocolate treats and caramel dipped delights. Great treat addition!

Was looking for a new ice cream joint around my town and came across Kilwins. I decided to give it a try and boy was I happy I did. The store is very easy going on the eyes and is very clean. There are many different flavors of ice cream and even more choices of chocolates to choose from. I bought a medium sized cup of salted caramel ice cream and some chocolates. I must say, the quality of the ice cream was just splendid! It was very milky and creamy. To be honest, I don’t know how it would be comparable to Dairy Queen: that guy must have no taste buds. The chocolate covered rice krispie and caramel truffles were delicious. I was very satisfied and happy with the products I found at Kilwins and will definitely visit again soon. Adieu!

Friends were raving about this place as I demanded to know the nearest ice cream parlor to fulfill my ever-unpredictable sweet tooth. We walk in and I’m immediately punched in the face with nostalgia — it reminded me of the candy store my aunt owns that I worked at in my pre-teen years. That chocolate smell will never leave my soul — I was home. Cut scene to the ice cream counter at the end of the store, I survey the flavors, get my single scoop waffle cone. It was around $ 5. Now had this ice cream been the gold that my friends had made me anticipate, I may have been fine with the steep price. After all, as I understand, this is in a wealthier neighborhood. And don’t get me wrong, the ice cream was really good. But it wasn’t fantastic — something I would brag to my friends about. Gluten-free-roommate gets a few chocolates which are even more expensively priced than the ice cream and seemed satisfied, but not thrilled about the prices either. If you’re looking for chocolates /candy /ice cream and have the money to spare — this might be your place. But I expect there to be the same quality for cheaper elsewhere.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! We discovered Kilwin’s a few Holidays ago when we received a giant tray as a gift. Thank goodness a business card was attached, because my fiancé and I had to have more. This place is amazing! I always order the milk chocolate covered graham crackers, dark chocolate striped Oreos and salted caramel ice cream in a waffle bowl with hot fudge and whipped cream — yummy! The service is great, they always take care of me when I need a last minute gift. Plus it never fails, when I give Kilwin’s as a gift, I get requests for more. My bff loves candy apples and it has become tradition that she gets one for every occasion.

I’m surprised about how many people loved their ice cream. I was barely better than average ice cream. While it’s better than the Dairy Queens in town if you are going to come to Kilwins a lot just go to Dairy Queens.

My boyfriend brought me treats from here and I really wish he wouldn’t have because now I’m addicted! He bought peanut butter fudge with chocolate and mms in it. It was even better than my mom’s recipe. mmmm He also got one caramel apple and a caramel apple with chocolate over it. BEST caramel ever and the chocolate was the best as well…
