Business Owner

Yvonne (Messer) Diaz — Yvonne graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a BFA in Dance and earned her Master’s in Education at Brooklyn College. Yvonne is an alumna of the Zodiaque Dance Company. She has performed and studied extensively in both New York City and Los Angeles, in addition to attending numerous conventions, including Dance Masters of America’s Teachers Training School.

Yvonne has completed residences and master classes with; American Ballet Theater, Doug Verone, Limon Dance Company, Cello Movement, Eager Artists of South Africa, and Jagdish Gangani of India.

Yvonne is the owner of In Focus Dance Center and the founder/​director of Convergence Dance Company, she teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, and lyrical.
