An enchanting forest oasis of tranquility awaits you in a quiet peaceful setting that sits at 6300′ elevation nestled on a large ¼ acre private lot of beautiful soaring pine trees.

Whispering Pines Cottage is one of those places where time slows down, and good times seem to linger longer. Whether you are traveling alone, visiting as a couple or hosting a small retreat with friends, you’ll feel at home and away from it all at Whispering Pines Cottage.

Snuggle up by an old stone fireplace and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. Enjoy reading a book in the garden near the gentle trickling sounds of the pond. Meditate on the meditation boulders while listening to the melodic sounds of wind chimes in the distance. Meander along the tranquil garden walking paths and play bocce ball or horseshoes. Savor a glass of wine on the deck under millions of stars. Revitalize by hiking the forest trails only steps away from the Acorn Trail that connects with the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). In the fall, this trail offers one of the best places to view the brilliance of fall colors. Enjoy a short ½ mile walk to Wrightwood Village and meet the locals in the charming shops, restaurants, bakery, fudge shop and Farmer’s Market held every Friday afternoon 4−7pm. Hit the slopes at Mountain High Resort and North Pole Tubing Park just 3 miles away. Rock climb Mormon Rocks or glide high in the trees through the pine forest with Big Pines Zip Line Tours.

Whatever adventure awaits you, we invite you to enjoy our newly renovated custom cottage just completed in December 2015. Whispering Pines Cottage has been designed to offer the ultimate experience for those seeking an unmatched luxury retreat.

We relied on natural stone, brushed granite, marble, tongue and groove wood planks, vaulted wood beamed ceilings, an open concept floor plan design to inspire relaxation and allow you to feel pampered during your stay.

We do our best to provide an exceptional experience for our guests! If there’s anything we can do to make your stay special, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Mountain High Resort is only 3 miles from our cottage and we’ve been skiing/​snowboarding here for many years. We also love to hike and take photographs in this area and we both share many wonderful memories from our experiences in the San Gabriel Mountains.



We have always loved the ease of getting to this mountain range. The charming town of Wrightwood where our cottage resides is only 15 minutes from I-​15.

Two years ago, we began remodeling this custom property with the help of local contractors and friends. We are excited to finally be able to enjoy it with our family/​friends and delighted to be sharing it with you as well.

Whispering Pines Cottage is only a 0.5 mile walk to Wrightwood Village where restaurants and shops abound and we are only steps from Acorn Trail which connects to the Pacific Crest Trail.
