The Worst!!! Had pepper steak & dragon fire chicken… should be steak & chicken«flavored» There were 3 pieces of steak among a ton of mushrooms &1 and a half pieces of chicken with a scoop full of veggies. The customer in front of me commenting«is that all the chicken I get?» should have been an indicator! I went back to see if I could get a THIRDCHOICE added to my total for some MEAT but the kid behind the counter says he couldn’t do it, so tried to charge me $ 5something for an entrée. No thank you! Not paying that… And I saw there was chicken in that dish… this kid just seems to think I would love to pay for all the veggies & leave the meat behind the counter. Do yourself a favor Avoid this place! The beef was tough & flavors sub par… if you need to have Chinese food on Ft Dix, pls order from any of the takeout spots and you be doing 100 times better than this«Machu Wok»!! Hope this kid reads this– give up some of that meat man, C’MON!!! THISWAS A HORRIBLELUNCHEXPERIENCE. Unhappy, unsatisfied customer… gonna go spend that $ 5 on a slice of pizza. Wish they would get rid of this Manchu wok & replace with ANYTHINGELSE in the food court.

I should have Unilocaled this place before eating, so to add to the previous review … do not eat the orange chicken. It was greasy, and had a weird after taste. This place really needs some management that cares about the food they put out.

Ever eat at a Manchu Wok in a mall? I mean, let’s be honest, it’s mall Chinese food-not great, too greasy, not healthy, but it usually tastes ok. Manchu Wk, Panda Express, etc… not great but not awful. That’ what I used to think too, but over the past few years I’ve had really GOOD Chinese food and mall Chinese just doesn’t do it for me anymore. This particular Manchu Wok at the Fort Dix Post Exchange is even worse than regular mall Chinese. Was down there yesterday and I got a first hand account of the great food offerings in the PX are(please read the sarcasm there) and the choices were so great I chose Manchu Wok. I should have just skipped lunch. I had the two entrée combo with fried rice… costing the pepper steak and the honey garlic chicken. Ugh, grey tough beef, overcooked veggies, over fried and over sauced chicken and flavorless fried rice. The old Asian woman behind the counter gave me an attitude when I asked for it in a to-go container and basically tossed my tray at me when I paid. I don’t give many one-star reviews, but I wouldn’t eat here again if given a free meal voucher. Our troops deserve better.
