Timberland is awesome for several reasons. First, their shoes are awesome, they either resist water or are waterproof, they’re very comfortable, and made with great materials. Two, if you have a problem with the shoe, bring it back, their return policies are amazing. Finally, the staff is really nice. I don’t want to get into the details of my story but let me just say that the staff and management really care about their customers.

Still a pretty good place to go for shoes and some outdoor clothing. It has gone a bit too much ‘style over substance’ for me, especially since the style is more youth than I like. I am not sure that the merger with Northern Face has been what I had hoped. I do like the hiking shoes and boots though, so worth going in for that. Timberland Brand seems to still be maintaining where footwear is concerned. They also have a great discount area for the shoes, but sizes are limited so they may not have what you need at the time.

Service up front but not on the back end Scotty looking in the back or my size but bringing the wrong size. A for effort and 4 star. With 3 employees working, I waited through two songs while the female cashier upsold the guy informt of me a cleaner and protectant kit. Way too long to wait in an almost empty store. Loosing a star. Love the product and was actually replacing two pair of 10yo cargo pants that finally gave out. Good thing I don’t buy very often to wait for this service. Ill toss out a 3⁄5 stars saved by the product and good price but the service needs help

I am really disappointed in the staff at this stores unwillingness to work with other retailers in the outlets. I went to another shoe store in the outlet and purchased a pair of Timberland boots for my boyfriend at $ 59.99. I then walked down the mall a little further and saw the timberland store and decided to go in and see if they had the same boots and if the price was the same. Low and behold they did have them and they were $ 49.99. Knowing the other store I had just purchased them at originally would price match I walked back over and told them what I had seen. The VERY nice girl behind the counter said she would call over to the Timberland store to verify as that was their policy. Her first call over last all of 3 seconds and when she simply asked if they had the shoe in stock and identified herself as an employee of a competing store the employee on the other end simply said No they did not carry that item in stock and hung up the phone. Now I am standing there looking like an idiot and a liar and not happy at all because I knew what I had seen. The girl calls her manager up who call back Timberland store and gets a different employee who says that they do have it in stock but the price is $ 59.99. At this point I am getting down right pissed because I look stupid because the employees at Timberland are either too lazy or inadequate to give the store the correct information. Frustrated with the entire process but wanting to save the $ 10 I returned the shoes to the good store because at this juncture I needed to prove I wasn’t losing it and those damn boots were $ 49.99 at the other store. I walked back over to Timberland, picked up the EXACT same pair I had just returned to the other store(size, color and all) and purchased them for $ 49.99!!! Now needing to prove my sanity and honesty to the very nice girls at the other store on my way back to my car I showed them the boots and the receipt and they were just as angry and frustrated as I was. Seriously Timberland get your crap together!

The 2 star rating is not a reflection on the Timberland brand. I love Timberland and it’s products. This store leave a bit to be desired. The physical size of the store can’t handle the crowds. The clothing section of the store is usually in good condition. However the shoe section is usually a wreck: due to both customers that can’t pick up after themselves(or at least move their shoes out of the walk way after they try them on) and employees that can’t keep it clean either. I also walked in on a racial argument(n-word, cracker) during my visit, only to discover it was employees using that language. Totally unprofessional.
