Established in 2009.

Dance & Beyond was established in August of 2009 by Owner & Director Meaghan Valego in the hopes of making exercises and movement fun for all individuals through the art of dance.

Business Owner

Owner & Artistic Director/​Dance Instructor/​Licensed Zumba and Zumba Toning Instructor/​Certified Group Exercise Instructor & CPR Certified

Meaghan began her dance career at the age of seven and has now been dancing for over twenty years. Growing up, Meaghan specialized in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop and Theatre Dance. Meaghan went on to pursue dance at Springfield College (SC) where she earned a B.S. in Dance Movement and Education. Throughout the 2005 – 2006 season at SC, she became President of the Dance Club and co-​artistic director of Pulse, the first Spring Dance Concert at the college. In addition, she performed at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and with the Best of Broadway Theatre production at SC.

She went on to teach various styles of dance and fitness for kids at numerous studios and facilities in the area. Meaghan has also competed and won her first professional competition in 2008 at the New England Colonial Classic and her second in the Spring of 2009.
