Massages Reduce Stress

If you don’t want stress please don’t visit this place. The owner Beth is so unprofessional. She will stress you out. The therapist Eunice I had was wonderful, but the therapist don’t Stay long because of the owner Beth. I paid for eight visits and only received 4 due to not wanting to be in this bad atmosphere. You can not enjoy your massage because of the psychotic owner Beth!

This is NOT a professional environment by any means. The entire experience felt incredibly sketchy and I was profoundly uncomfortable. The massage was sporadic and painful (in the bad, I think you’re giving me rug burn, kind of way). In addition, the masseuse made small talk by commenting on the problems she has with certain racial groups spending time near her space.
If you have any self-​respect whatsoever, do not come here.

Just went in through a Groupon and the massage was AWESOME. The only concern was with the staff, they are a bit rude and I have no desire to return. I was filling out paperwork for some of the other people that went with me and I was asked if the person not filling out the paperwork spoke English. Yes, she spoke English but how is that relevant to anything? The «owner» was attempting to be funny but I found that to be more rude than funny.

I showed up today for my massage, and found out that my regular person no longer works there. I was a little irked because I never received a call, but I went w/​my newly assigned masseuse, Karen. She was fantastic! My only complaint was that there was no music on in the room. There was a fan going, so there was some «white noise», but the new-​agey music that is normally played during a massage is very relaxing to me. I will definitely keep going to see her, though.

The only reason I did not give a rating of 5 stars is due to the environment and the other masseuse on duty that day. There was not a receptionist on staff when I went and things felt a bit rushed. The woman that was there, I don’t know her name because she never introduced herself, kept coming out of her therapy room to answer phones and deal with the every day running of things. While this did not directly impact my experience, it did speak to the experiences other’s have spoken of on here.
My masseuse was very kind and gave a wonderful massage. He was still polite and very accommodating even with the woman’s insistent nagging about another client waiting for him, which in turn made me feel like she was rushing me to get out. Maybe allowing a 10 – 15 minute window so that no one feels like they were made to wait or rushed out, would be great. This also allows the therapist a moment to breath and ready their space for the next client.
The massage was wonderful and I will definitely be going back. I have been looking for a new masseuse ever since my last one moved out of state. Larry was awesome! Hire more like him and your business will have no choice but to flourish!

I bought a Groupon to this place. My experience was just OK. The massage was fine enough but I think the larger problem is with the building and its administrative help. When I booked the appointment, I mentioned the Groupon and what it was for. Evidently, what I was booked for was not what I paid for as the woman conducting my massage doesn’t conduct hot stone massages. I wasn’t really bothered by this too much. Next is the office the place is in. It is a very small area and there is not much insulation. I say that because I could hear the conversations from the chiropractor’s office next door, the telephone ringing (constantly), and people coming in and out. In fact, it turns out the secretary was out sick the day I was there and my therapist ended up leaving the room to answer the door. She was gone about five minutes dealing with the walk in. Now, she came back, apologized and said she would extend the massage to compensate. She did but the environment just does not lend to a spa or at least, relaxing, environment.
My massage was good. The therapist asked continually if the pressure was ok or if there was anything to change. I was happy with her. Plus, they seem to have good deals ($ 30 for a massage in January). My only problem is the environment. I just didn’t find it conducive to relaxation — which is why I was there. If the location changes, I would reconsider visiting.

I’ll preface that I’ve had several massages.
This place is in a little box of an office. I was buzzed in and someone grumbled to me to take my shoes off at the door. There is indoor/​outdoor carpeting through out, not very comfy. Then I was grumbled at to fill out an information sheet. Let me mention, no one said «Welcome» or «Hello». There was a girl sitting behind a computer folding pamphlets, she didn’t even look up. Then I couldn’t believe the «grumbler» went into a room to finish a massage!
Everyone looked sloppy and the ambiance was blah. Seemed really unprofessional.

Business was kind of a mess. I arrived with my bf for an afternoon massage and the place is so small we had to wait in the lobby outside the office. The business itself shares a lobby with a lawyer’s office, so it’s a very weird layout. Went in and filled out paperwork, then went to separate rooms for the massage.
The low down: Both massages actually started late-​my masseuse ran out to lunch and didn’t get back on time. My bf’s masseuse worked the front desk and complained about how the employees are always late and how she had to answer phones because they didn’t have a secretary. My massage was meh. I really wanted a lot of pressure and a lot of work on my back. Masseuse breezed over it with very light pressure. She also still had her drink let from lunch and took frequent stops during the massage to take a swig-​I know because I heard the ice swish around in the cup. My bf’s massage was almost laughable. She refused to use oil, because she thought it was too slippery and fell using it on another client? So instead, he got a massage with lotion. That dried up. And she continued to massage. And talk about her boyfriend and name drop people he might know. Not really relaxing. I heard other clients leave talking about how great their massage was but for their regular prices, I’d rather go to a spa and enjoy all 60minutes from a professional.
