Was very very good food. Humongous portions, left absolutely stuffed!

I just spent a week on cape cod. I ate seafood every night and wase. disappointed time and again. I ordered the zuppa de pesce spicy with red sauce and can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Can’t say much else as it was my first time here. But it’s not too pricy. The foods great and even thou the building is a little old. They did a good job in keeping the tin ceilings and brick. It really fits in with Worcester’s whole canal deal.

Incredible calzone! Best I ever had. The chicken parm sub was good but not as good as that darn calzone!

We were very happy with the catering meals from Ziti’s for a bridal shower. We had the gnocchi, tortellini Alfredo, and pasta chicken Marsala. They were reasonably priced, piping hot and delicious. I highly recommend Ziti’s for catering. Now we can’t wait to try the restaurant. We love the one in. Westboro!

My wife and I stopped by here for dinner last week and were very impressed with the food. The restaurant was a bit chilly, but food really was good, authentic Italian, unlike the crappy Olive Garden down the road.

Attempted to go here a when I first moved to Worcester. I say attempted because as soon as I pulled into the parking lot an employee came up to the front window and started making rude gestures with his hands and shoeing me away. I know some maybe wondering why do I think it was an employee, oh I don’t know the nasty food stained apron around his waist may have been a tip off. Also it was only around 6PM way before they were going to close for the night. Who knows maybe that employee saved me a night of stomach cramps, the one thing I do know he saved me from spending the $ 80.00 in my pocket at Ziti’s.

I went at 12 noon lunch hour, the place was empty. I asked if they had Pizza by the slice because it was not on display. The pizza slice was in a pizza box inside an empty oven. The gentleman took the slice out of the box and was going to heat that up to serve to me. At that moment, I said«no thank you, that is not fresh» and I left the restaurant.

Simply AWFUL. It should have been a red flag that on a Friday night at 6:00 this place was dead. My food was absolutely gross. I managed to eat what I could since complaining and ordering something else would have resulted in a delay and we had to just eat and run. The risotto special was way overcooked and swimming in a pool of oil. The whole dish had no flavor and was very unpleasant. Though our young waitress was very very sweet and seemed to take pride in her work, she was extremely awkward and really struggling. Never offer the dessert options while people are still eating! Her supervisors are HOPEFULLY catching these types of mistakes and correcting her. I stayed away from Ziti’s for about a year and would probably have to wait another year before I return again. I think they may need a visit from Robert Irvine.

So after visiting Italy a couple weeks back, I have been craving some good Italian Food… Being it’s a Sunday, many of the Italian options in the Worcester Area are closed… My sister, her boyfriend Matt and I checked this place out… and ordered up an Eggplant Sub, Gnocchi Sorrentino and Chicken Parm. Wanting to try the pizza, though, we decided to split a Margherita pizza. Lisa had the sub and the bread looked awesome. The sauce was decent too… the only complaint that the ‘bottom’ of the sub was loaded with eggplant, but the cheese and sauce was on top… she had wished it was a bit more incorporated so that every bite had enough of all 3 elements. Huge sub. Matt had the chicken parm… with linguine… which he said was fine. Nothing too outstanding here. And had noted the amount of water in the side bowl of linguine with not enough sauce. Good size portion, however. I had the gnocchi sorrentino… which was pretty good. Sauce and cheese were good. In Italy the gnocchi are not quite as large and weren’t as chewy as most places in the states. Tasted decent tho. The pizza… while it didn’t have dollops of fresh mozzarella, it did have the shredded stuff… and the thin crust was nice and crisp. Really good pizza. I don’t think this place delivers, but you wouldn’t want this pizza delivered as the water from the tomatoes on this pie would have softened up the perfectly crisp crust in no time. So…all in all, this place is decent. I would come back for pizza for sure. I think there may be better options for pasta in the area, but give it a shot. Waitstaff didn’t seem overwhelmingly happy that we visited them today… the place was kinda dead… neither one a great sign. But the food is decent… so check it out and review it up.

The food was outstanding and fresh, the bread was killer, the service was attentive and professional. It’s a little down beat walking in, they have cafeteria style chairs and those awful plastic pizza place style giant red cups, which made me think I was possibly in a less nice place than I thought. Wasn’t looking for a pizza place but the food was so much better than that. Clearly fresh ingredients, everything from the salad to the chicken Alfredo and parmigiana was excellent. Don’t let looks deceive you, this place is an absolute winner.

Dinner last Saturday night at Ziti’s was delicious. The service was very friendly and not at all rushed. The American antipasto salad was enough to feed 3 and a great bargain at $ 7. The pasta was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully, and portioned generously. Prices are very reasonable in the mid to high teens. The pizzas looked very good, that’s what I will try next time. The building is cool with exposed brick and is nicely decorated. The only thing I would change is the furniture. The tables and chairs in the dining room are straight out of a cheap 1980’s banquet hall.

Having had a fabulous experience at Ziti’s in Westborough, I figured I would check out the Worcester location on my way home from work the other night. The familiar scent of garlic outside the restaurant was promising.(The drive by argument on the street by the entrance… well, that’s not the restaurants fault.) I had a tough time deciding what to get, but the young, admittedly new employ was incredibly patient and helpful. When she didn’t have an answer regarding putting a sauce that looked good to me with a different pasta she consulted with someone.(The Ziti’s in Westborough had done this, and it was fabulous — it seems pouring a sauce over a different kind of pasta in Worcester is a no-no.) Not a problem though, I went with the dish that had the sorrentina sauce, ordered a meatball on the side and went to sit outside while they assembled my dish. I thought it was great that they had enough staff on a Friday night at dinner time to accommodate someone walking in to order something to go. The food was prepared rather quickly, and I headed back toward the door. That’s where this review starts to go down hill. Apparently there was some kind of situation between(I think the young waitress who I didn’t see when I went back in to get the food), and the woman who seemed to be in charge of things. She did nothing to hide that there was a problem in front of customers, in fact she mentioned that the person had walked out and wouldn’t be coming back. The whole kitchen area seemed tense, and I just thought it best to slip out of there. So… I drove on home, and popped open the overstuffed(!) container. I couldn’t wait to take the first bite remembering back to the last experience. Well… I’ve never experienced bad Italian food before now. I didn’t think it was possible to screw it up. In fact, given the choice, I’d rarely go out for Italian because it’s something even *I* can cook. All I could taste was salt. Both dishes. I probably should have just gone on and thrown it out(it really was that bad), but I paid $ 16 for dinner, was wicked hungry, and didn’t really have anything in the house that was dinner worthy, so I forced myself through several forkfuls. I think maybe my cats’ organic tuna might have been a better choice. All of these fabulous Italian restaurants in Worcester, and I chose the one bad one. not. going. back. there.

Was looking for a restaurant for a group luncheon that was convenient to get back to 290 as everyone is from different parts of the state. This location was ideal. The parking was adequate as I had called ahead and they stated there was a lot behind the building. When I first walked in I was taken a little aback as the décor is a little out of sync. Your first impression is that you are in a pizza joint rather than a restaurant. That said the service was excellent, the food was good and everyone was pleased by the choice. This is added to our list of meeting spots.

We went to Ziti’s tonight, the Monday after Christmas. There was 1 other party there. The service was just o.k. We started with the brushetta which was pretty good altough I found it better when I added a little parmesan cheese. The croutons on the ceaser salad were stale and chewy. The dressing was generic. We ordered the chicken, broccoli & ziti and the chicken parmesean. They were big portions but the parm was very bland, nothing to write home about. The chicken, broccoli & ziti had very little broccoli, way too much oil and frankly the chicken was overcooked and tasted like I would imagine catfood would taste. This food wasn’t worth it for $ 65.00. Very disappointed. We will not be returning!

We just went to Ziti’s tonight; we had a great experience! The parking lot was pretty small for the restaurant, but it wasn’t very busy, so was fine for tonight(but a little scary, since it was a Friday at 7PM). We were waited on almost instantly, and were surprised when our entrees came out and were gigantic! Not only that – they tasted good. I definitely will go back, and recommend this place! Try it!

I have no idea how this place is open. My wife went there for lunch to use a gift certificate and it was horrible. In a city full of great Italian please stay away. The waitress was rude and couldn’t care less about us. We were the only customers in the place and still took over 20 minutes for a grinder and a Parm dish. Also, the owner/manager was using the bar as an office and talking very loudly about her needs and wants over the phone. As for the food the caprese salad was great and that is it. Our lunches were average and over priced sitting in a dining room that had no ambiance or comfort. Please spends your money elsewhere. The service owner and food were all forgettable.

I made reservations to bring 20 people for dinner before a show at the Hanover on a Tuesday night… it was a disaster. I have called several times to discuss the night with the manager but have never received a call back. This restaurant has lost 20 potentially new customers.

I have Driven by this place a Million times and Finally decided to go. I wish I did not wait so long. The food was delicious. You can tell everything was very fresh, nothing frozen. The portions were large and the prices were cheap. It was a cute little place reminded me of something you would see in Little Italy in NY. Very casual family dining. The only thing I didn’t like was one of the staff came and asked me if I was finished with my meal I said yes. I only ate like 4 bites,(because I filled up on bread and appetizers) I assumed when he took it he was going to wrap it for me, but he just threw out the entire plate of food. I guess I shouldn’t of assumed but honestly thought he wouldn’t throw out an entire meal with out asking?
