Called at 10:30 to order a special deal They had to be on the menu. I ordered 2 Pizza’s French fries, a 2L Coke and 20 oz Diet Coke for 1230. At 12:40 I called to ask if they were on the way. They said it would be ten more minutes. Their excuse was that they got busy. We were in the middle of a training and only had a short time for a break. Not happy. Even if food is good will not order again. They didn’t even call to say it would be late. When we finally got our order they sent a 2L Diet Coke and no 20oz. When I pointed this out the driver said well you weren’t charged. He didn’t offer to fix the order. The fries were cold and there was no ketchup.

Good tasting pizza. Salads a bit bland, but edible. Fast counter type service. Good place to eat if you are in a hurry.

Pizza slices were thin, and the sauce had no taste. Traditional thin crust style pizza. They do have a number of lunch specials available Monday-Friday, and a number of meal deal options(pizza, wings, soda). They do have ample seating, and do offer delivery.

The pizza was not very good. I have hungry and finished my slices. It wasn’t terrible, just not much taste for a plain slice. Very dry, needs more sauce. Went there just because of the name. The place is huge, probably for the lunch crowd in downtown Worcester. I did go dinner time and it was empty.

I really don’t understand the rave reviews. The people were very nice and friendly and the place very clean. That being said, the sauce had little or no flavor, the cheese had no flavor and was a mixture of what type of cheese I couldn’t tell, I asked for extra crispy and extra sauce and got not much sauce and I think they tried to make it crispy but the dough was very weird like cooked on the outside and raw gummy on the top under the sauce. I have this problem that time and again where I actually sometimes get drawn into a place because of a review. Doesn’t anyone in these restaurants ever taste the food they are serving?

I stumbled onto this place while walking from the MCPHS campus and searching for a slice and have returned a few times. The pizza is typical and doesn’t lean either way in quality. Slices are your favorite are here and they have affordable sandwiches and a decent size menu of other options. The prices are fair, the staff is local kids who’d do better to be taking orders instead of gabbing to each other while customers stand and wait to be served.

we had been looking for someplace to get dinner before a show at the hanover theater, and stumbled upon this little place. pretty large menu and decent prices, definitely better than any fast food place we could have gone to around the area. my boyfriend got two slices of cheese, which he liked. and i got spaghetti with olive oil and garlic(asked for no cheese please), which was great and refreshing to be able to order vegan food so easily in a place i had never been. will be back again if we go see another show at the hanover!

The MOST horrible experience I ever had ordering a salad. Ordered on a Saturday for delivery– I wanted a salad, there menu describes the Antipasto like this«A generous sampling of salami, ham, tuna, provolone, Polly-O fresh mozzarella, olives, artichoke hearts, pepperonicini and roasted peppers on a bed of mixed greens.» Mind you I paid almost $ 10 bucks with an extra dressing and tax for this $ 8.40 salad– which actually had ONE slice of salami, no tuna, one slice of cheese, one olive, one. ok ok, ONE of everything, guess thats there idea of generous helping. I was not happy ATALL– I called back and I said hey you know this is not what I expected based on your menu description and for ten damn dollars, I forgot what she said, but she was so rude to me I asked to speak to the manager– she said«I am the manager» I said you have to be kidding me, her name was Brumhilda or something like that. I told her I want my money back — she told it would be 2 hours and then I BETTER put the salad dressing and dry pita bread back in the bag! Oh okkkk, no problem, and yes the hell I sure did make him come all the way back and give me my ten dollars back and take back their stupid rediculous overpriced salad– I turned around and got one from Golden Pizza or somewhere for 6 bucks or less, LOADED with meat and cheeses and goodies. Needless to say, we have NEVER ordered from them again, and we used to order pizza faithfully, my boyfriend put his like for the pizza aside after the way they treated us, and to be honest, I find the pizza lacking, hardly any sauce and just bla.

I like Woosta Pizza, though I think the name is silly. The pizza is Italian style, and could use about double the sauce. but otherwise good. The sandwiches are a great value for the area and come with Potato chips for about $ 5 for a foot long. While there could be improvements on the pizza. it isn’t your typical central massachusetts greek/turkish style(cooked in a pan) pizza that’s everywhere. It’s closer to Papa ginoesque Italian style, and they are a full 18 inches which is pretty huge. Calzones looked huge as well, though I haven’t had one. I do appreciate this place.

Best thick crust, soft dough pizza in Worcester! Love the service, the food, and the prices! If you love thick, chewy crust then this is your place.

I live in Oslo, Norway but have a significant other in Worcester. For Valentines Day I ordered a pizza garnished with spinach to be delivered to my significant other. While this is probably a request they don’t often get, they came through BIGTIME. When I called they let me speak to the manager and she was incredibly friendly and supportive of my little idea. They delivered the pizza to her with a little note and the spinach folded into a heart shape. Made my s/o’s day and made mine too. Excellent service. Oh, and apparently the pizza was good!

I work downtown, so I’ve been exploring my lunch options. I stopped in around noon the other day with the intention of getting a calzone. Unfortunately for me, this was apparently lunch time for the MCPHS students, so I was told it would be a half hour. I couldn’t wait that long, so I grabbed a lunch special with a slice of cheese, salad, and a soda. Luckily for me, the pizza had just come out, and it was great! The crust was a good balance of chewy and crunchy, and there was plenty of cheese. The salad was good, though looked a little sad.(Not their fault, I think, since it is February.) This is a spot I will certainly come back to for lunch. Next time, though, I will definitely phone iin my calzone order.

Didn’t this place used to be a tiny little joint? If it was, then it should move back. I went to a «Woosta Pizza»(or that’s what I thought it was) a few years back and it was excellent. So, upon going to a show at the DCU Center one night and not able to get into any place else, we were happy to find the Woosta Pizza to grab a pie. Well, apparently others had the same idea because there was a line of maybe 12 or so people with maybe 5 or so tables already seated. The place wasn’t full, it just seemed like a crowd was forming as we all descended on the one place to eat before the show. You would think that this would clue those working there in on the fact that they need to start making more pizzas. Didn’t happen. For the 20 minutes or so that we stood in line, not one pizza was put in the window for slices. Luckily for us, the remaining two slices weren’t ordered by anyone in front of us. The problem was those two slices I know sat for at least 20 minutes while we were in line were stone cold. After we made our order and paid, the server put the two slices in the pizza oven, filled our drink and then pulled the slices from the oven. A microwave couldn’t have heated them in that amount of time much less a pizza oven. If Woosta Pizza wasn’t in that tiny spot before, they should reconsider going to one because they can’t seem to manage the restaurant spot they’re currently in. What a frustrating ordeal. Was the pizza good? Yeah, not bad for cold pizza. I’d liken it to food court pizza(Sbarro).

Apparently if you order a large pizza instead of the small(what I ordered last time) it will arrive undercooked, floppy, and gross. Stick with the small pizzas, even if you have to order two.

Either I hit this place on a bad day or the quality of the pizza varies widely because I cannot really explain why other reviewers love this place and I hate it. I was in Worcester for the day for a workshop and wandered around during lunch time till I came upon the sign and something about«Worcester’s best pizza.» What a joke. This is the kind of middling, mall pizza you find in sleepy towns — cherished by locals as the«real deal» but laughed out by out-of-towners and big city folks who know a thing or two about pie. This place is cheap, but that makes sense since the pizza sucks. I don’t remember the last time I was in a pizza place that did not have a non-meat option other than cheese — oh that’s right, it was 1986 or something. I had lunch special #2, which consisted of a slice of cheese pizza, a very poor salad and a drink. The pizza looked like it had been sitting on the counter for a while and even a few minutes in the oven could not resuscitate could it. If this is the best pizza in the city, Worcester is fucked.

First off, I have to warn you, I am a bit of a pizza snob as I am from New York and grew up in the Bronx and Long Island. I think I know a little something about the stuff but I may be entirely full of it or just plain wrong. Anyways, this is my opinion of the joint, for good or for ill. Let me tell you something, besides a Chinese place(Dragon King or something) and Dunkin Donuts and the Armin Abbey(I may have misspelled that!) which I felt under dressed for, there are not a lot of places to eat in Worcester at 230p on a freakin’ Saturday! I read Unilocal reviews prior to my visit, so when I saw the little sign lit up from a distance, it looked like an oasis. We(me and my gf) had been walking around the downtown area for quite some time when we arrived unintentionally at our lunch destination. First, I like the McDonald’s turned Pizzeria layout. Nostalgia does play a small part for my review and it hearkened back to a much different time in my life. Heh. Enough of that, let’s get down to the service and the food. In that order. The nice young woman behind the counter was pleasant, she had to deal with somewhat indecisive customers who were apparently from somewhere that doesn’t have too many pizzerias since they seemed to ruminate over the entire menu and took upwards of 5 minutes to complete their order. We ordered the special(2 Slices and a drink for $ 5), both getting 1 slice of pepperoni and regular cheese and grabbed two sodas. The lady got our order correct and a couple of minutes later we were summoned by her to come pick up our food. Ya know, for only 5 people being in the joint and we were at the table by the register, she *could* have brought it out. I’ve also been called«picky» but that’s an egregious understatement. The cleanliness level of the place was on the higher end of good. I know they probably only just opened an hour or so before but the tables and chairs were good and the bathrooms were better than passable as well. I find this very important to note about food places, sometimes the food can be so good but you just want to get it to go because of the interior of a place. Anyways… on to the Main Attraction: The pizza: Very average. Even though I was ravenously hungry, I did everything in my power to not let it skew the datum(i.e. The Pizza) unfairly. It was near identical pizza to a place back on the Island called Les’(in Patchogue). I am not a fan of their pizza, and as such, I am not a fan of Woosta. I am not an Enemy of it either. It was semi-crisp, had a decent amount of cheese, but very little sauce. Bother slices. The pepperoni slice had an adequate amount of topping and was just a tad bit better than the cheese. Overall, my rating would be a 2.5 if I were allowed to give half-stars. It is, in my conclusion, a good place to stop off for a quick something if you are going to the Palladium or if you have other local business but I’m not driving 15+ minutes to eat here if I were a local. Ciao!

#22 on the Worcester Pizza Quest (I understand that people place emotions when they visit a restaurant a lot. But in my reviews rely on how I felt about a place and on the tastiness of the food. Nostalgia has no factor in my reviews. I treat each review as a first time visit and the impact that was placed on me when visited.) The person answered the phone attention was elsewhere but otherwise pleasant. We ordered just a plain cheese pizza. It is difficult to find parking because it is downtown Main Street. This is an unusual Pizza shop it seems as though it was a McDonalds. The place is run down. The smell of the pizza fills the room even before you open the box. Opening the box you are rewarded with a pleasant looking pizza that needs to be eaten. This is the thin Italian style pizza. The dough had that pleasant crisp but chewy feeling and the sauce had just the right amount of spices and sweetness. The cheese was a bit skimpy but did not take away from the flavor. This is a pleasant pizza and a bit shocked that it is located in downtown Worcester. This pizza is worth the drive, I will be ordering from them again.

I came here with a couple friends right before a concert at the Palladium. It is literally a two minute walk down the street. Anyways, since I’ve only ate here once this vote is based on a first impression. The little kid that took our order was very polite so I was satisfied with the service. The deal they have going on there(2 slices of pizza and a soda) is awesome if you are short on cash. It’s 5 dollars and some change. The only problem I had with the pizza was the crazy amount of cheese they put on it. It was a tad bit too greasy for me. Maybe that’s your thing, but if you don’t like greasy pizza then be warned haha. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Ah the neighborhood pizza joint… fast, decent and friendly food abound Except at Woosta Pizza, they dont quite get the fast part, nor do they seem to understand the decent part Ordered Eggplant Parm(I am asking for it, admittedly) and my friend ordered the Turkey sub with honey mustard. His«sub» had all of one piece of meat in it, and my CHICKEN parm was sparingly matched with 3 pounds of spaghetti… and this was a 20 minute wait. in a pizza shop Maybe they do things differently in Woosta, but two stars for this establishment… one by default, and one by sheer pity, since they were overrun by Grateful Dead Stoners To them, the wait was ok, man… just not for the sober folk F

Located just a stone’s throw from the Palladium and DCU center, this establishment packs a punch with its delicious pizza. Came across this business when searching for a cheap place to stuff myself full before a night of drinking and live music at the Palladium. This did the trick! The interior reminds me of the décor in McDonald’s restaurants back in the day. Tiling, plastic booths and tables, and the occasional fake plant for accessory. I had the a lunch special meal — two slices of pizza and a soda for $ 5. Slices are decently large and very tasty. Thin, doughy crust, little sauce, lots of cheese! Will definately return if looking for a quick bite to eat in the area.
