We provide eye exams, contact lenses, fashion eye wear, laser consults, non surgical vision correction and vision therapy. We also specialize with children and learning problems.

History

Established in 1965.

Our practice had been established by Dr. Theodore Thamel over 45 years ago. The practice then merged with Dr. Allan Kurlan and now is owned by Dr. Brian Thamel and Dr. Valarie Ricciardi.

Business Owner

Dr. Thamel has been in practice for 28 years. He is past president of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. He has served in many roles on the state level and as well as locally. He also practices with his wife, Dr. Valarie Ricciardi. They have two practices and enjoy providing care to their patients. They are also part of Vision Source, the largest group of independent optometrists, which is comprised of premier practices.
