I was a member for two years. I hardly ever went. I quit to join a different gym that offers a variety of exercise classes, which is what I need. One of my complaints at this Planet Fitness location is that the employees don’t do anything to enforce basic rules. People sit there on the machines texting on their phones. People leave machines without wiping them. Now, there are a lot of guys from the nearby«hood» at the Worcester gym, so I don’t know if this intimidates the staff. However, that really takes the positives out of the experience if the staff won’t enforce the rules.

Watch out for the extra 20 $ they charge you every October to keep your monthly payments low! In fine print when you sign up

Affordable membership. Plenty of equipment. Facilities are always clean . Weird hours, not open on weekend nights. This is not the gym for you if you are a super serious power lifer as free weights do not exist . The average man’s gym

Awesome gym. Fun staff. Good atmosphere and very clean. The best part is that it is only $ 10 a month. If I go 2 times a week that’s only 2.25 each time. And they have pizza Monday’s if you have an urge to flex after a long week. Love it

Horrible, horrible gym. No squat racks, no dumbells over 75 pounds. What kind of gym offers pizza, bagels and tootsie rolls?!? Oh I know, the kind that doesn’t have a squat rack, or let you deadlift. The locker rooms are always dirty. Save your 10 bucks a month and join a real gym

For $ 10 per month you get what you pay for. They have plenty of cardio and strength training machines, which always seemed to be working fine, and weights. There are a very limited number of tv stations you can watch. No yoga/pilates/zumba or anything like that. It can get crowded during certain times of day. I left because I find running on a treadmill and lifting weights extremely unfulfilling, I like fitness to be a little fun, and I don’t find the atmosphere there to be motivating at all. It really annoyed me that they made me go into the facility to cancel my membership rather than allowing me to cancel over the phone. I ended up paying for a few extra months because I was too busy or kept forgetting to go there, and since it was only $ 10 it wasn’t a huge priority to cancel. It seems like a policy designed to get extra money out of people by making quitting more inconvenient.

Pretty good. I have everything I need. Sometimes the machines have bad aux ports for the TVs… Have to wiggle to put it in the right spot. That can get annoying.

Its hard to expand on whats already been said. This is a PF, its nothing special in terms of gyms, no spin classes, no free weight section to speak off. The Worcester locale delivers what it promises, for a great price. You see all kinds of people there, not really an issue. Everyone just does their thing and sticks to their groups, never seen conflict or an issue. One star off for non application of the rules. You go in and literally in 5 different places its posted«no cell phones, lobby only» and there is normally someone leaning against the sign talking on their cell phone. It can be distracting if your on a treadmill watching a show and walking but otherwise its not prohibitive. Still, why have a rule an post it over and over if you aren’t going to enforce it? You might dissuade some but few take it seriously. The staff are nice enough, you cant beat the price.

I prefer this loxation over the others in the area. Tanning machines, a massage chair, and 2 of every circuit machine.

Not a fan at all, I signed up before i knew what planet fitness actually was… a gym with very limited weights, no squat rack, and no dumbells over 75lbs. And judgement free zone? maybe if youre out of shape, but it seems to me that having an alarm for people you call«lunks» may be the very definition of being judgemental. Its cheap, and theres a reason for that. Also any gym that gives away pizza, bagels, and candy is missing the point

It definitely isn’t anything fancy, it’s a little ghetto. The machines are nothing nice, just your average treadmills. My only complaint is it’s always PACKED, I have actually walked in, and turned around and walked back out on many occasions. Other than that, it’s cheap, it’s convenient, usually at least decently clean, and it gets the job done.

Yes. Finally a planet fitness. Or at least a fitness center or gym with great hours near by. Lots of machines and equipment. Tanning and massage chairs available. It gets busy. Go real early or late after 8. Clean and convenient.
