If you’re in the unfortunate position of needing funeral services for a loved one, you really can do no wrong in using Kelly Funeral Home. We’ve used them for my grandparents and my parents, and the founder’s son, Jim Kelly, is fantastic. He has a personal touch and is most respectful. He goes through all the options and costs thoroughly, while also being caring and empathetic. He attends to both your current emotional state and the preservation of the memory of your loved one. Guiding you through the options, and explaining all the costs in detail while never, ever seeming likes a sales pitch, is kind amazing. He helps turn an unfamiliar and surreal experience into one of closure. It’s an odd thing to experience and explain, and one which a using a star based system rating seems out of place. I cannot recommend them enough. They are fair and extremely helpful, even down to details of obtaining a bagpiper for services.
