Great burger at a very reasonable price. Amy is friendly and attentive. Glad I can go to this place regularly now that we’ve moved to the area. The beer list is just what you’d want in a small town bar. Nothing fancy just good beer and lots of it I have yet to leave here hungry or thirsty.

Visited here tonight. I have to give the low rating because they say on the website and on the menu that the potato chips, fries, and onion rings were homemade and fresh, but the chips were chewy and when I asked the waitress, she admitted they were all frozen and then fried. So, not fresh at all. Other food was ok, not seasoned. Only dark beer was Guinness in a can. That’s it. Loud drunk, seemed like regular, kept shouting for hours. He should have been asked to leave after his racist Asian rant began, but stumbled out when no one was left to listen. In short, a bar, not a pub with what you’d expect from bar food. Nothing exceptional.

Good bar food every day. Quick service and reasonable prices. Alternating Fridays you can get a good steak dinner so call ahead.

I have had the opportunity to stop by Jack’s on a few occasions — it’s right off Rt. 7, and a very easy location for an easy on/off the I-88 highway. Jack’s is a small pub — but one of the nice things about it is that you can either sit at the bar, or at booths and tables — there is more of a «family» atmosphere than a «bar» atmosphere which is refreshing. The menu isn’t complicated at Jack’s and is very reasonably priced — as are the drinks. I haven’t tried something yet in the menu I haven’t liked — the wings and burgers are particularly good. The place seems to be family owned — and the waitstaff are considerate and attentive — even on busier nights. Jack’s is not a 5 star place, and I don’t think they want to be — great food and drink at reasonable prices and a good time with friends & family.
