Forgues Doctors of Optometry

Both my husband and I have been patients of Forgues Doctors of Optometry since 2002. There is no reason to go anywhere else. We have since moved from Worcester, but it’s definitely worth the 35+ minute ride to see them. Dr. Matt is personable, caring, and very knowledgeable. I’ve recommended numerous people to the practice and will continue to do so.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Matt Forgues for years and highly recommend his office. The staff is friendly and thorough, and Dr Forgues takes the time to explain the exam, treatment options, and answer questions very patiently. My eyes are in great shape because of the proactive care I receive here, and I really wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’m very happy to recommend Forgues Doctors of Optometry.

I have been going to Forgues Optometry for years and Dr. Mark and Dr. Matthew provide excellent care every time I have my eyes checked. They have state-​of-​the-​art equipment and are very thorough. Additionally, Sue (Office Manager) and Jessika are very accomodating and pleasant to deal with. Forgues Optometry is a great example of how a healthcare provider, or any business for that matter, should be run. I highly recommend Forgues Eyecare!

It’s easy and quick to get an appointment, and the staff are lovely. Dr. Matt is very thorough and knowledgeable, and he takes his time to explain everything. They have all the latest technology/​equipment, and they stock a large selection of contacts in a range of prescriptions. I couldn’t be happier with this practice.

I just got back from seeing Dr. Matt Forgues in the Worcester office. I was in dire need of getting an appointment due to an eye issue I was experiencing the last 3 days and it was worse when I woke up this morning. I called their office this morning and spoke to Sue who is wonderful and friendly! I was able to get an appointment this afternoon and was seen by Dr. Matt. I never met Dr. Matt as I’m a patient in the Shrewsbury office and a patient of Dr. Mark (his father).
Dr. Matt is extremely down to earth and took the time to exam me to see what was going on. Sure enough it was a sty that was infected which was causing pain and swelling and he was able to take care of it right there in the office. He answered all the questions I asked and made me feel very comfortable.
Thank you to the Staff and especially Sue for your hospitality and for getting me in right away today. And thank you Dr. Matt for taking care of the problem! It was finally nice to meet all of you! :o)

The doctor and the staffs are friendly. I have been going to Forges optometrists since 2012 and I will recommend this eye care to everyone. Last year I decided to get contact lens instead of glasses. Dr. Mark took his time to make sure he was finding the right perception for my contact lens. It has always been a great experience for me.

So glad to have found Dr. Matt. I was suffering from progressively worse dry eye after my LASIK surgery two years ago and my prior eye doctor simply used «band-​aids» like drops to treat they symptoms. Dr. Matt actually sat down and explained the problem to me, helped me create a plan of attack to defeat it, and gave me samples of items used to help treat the condition. I finally feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Also, great friendly staff and state of the art technology on-​hand. Overall a great experience.

I came here for the first time after trying out another local eye doctor and being really unsatisfied. I have been seen by Dr Mark and he was very thorough and I found the exam to be good. I ended up in the office after getting a prescription filled from a prior exam that was making me feel dizzy. Dr Mark took his time to really make sure he was finding the right perception for me, and it turned out the prescription from the other doctor was putting my astigmatism out of whack and that’s why I was feeling dizzy.
I was really apprehensive after a false start at a new eye doctor before coming to this practice. The staff is also really nice and helpful. The woman who helped me pick out new glasses was great about offering advice and also making sure I knew what costs I was looking at.

I have been a patient of Forgues Optometry since 2009 after choosing them for my Lasik eye care. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and great eye care with cutting edge technology (no puff of air glaucoma test here!). It is amazingly easy to book appointments (online or via phone). I can not say enough good things about this office. I have already referred both of my parents (who are now regular patients as well) and will continue to refer others. It’s not easy to find a medical practitioner that you want to rave about, but I have found one with Dr. Forgues. (I also happen to live quite a ways away from this office — 40 min drive each way — but it is so worth it.)

I have been a patient of this practice for quite a few years now. I have seen both Dr. Matt and Dr. Mark. I am always given an appointment, even on short notice. I am confident with the care provided by both doctors. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and pleasant. I cannot say enough about this practice… I will never go anywhere else.

I took my eye care needs here from another provider that I wasn’t happy with. I went to the Worcester office, across from lovely Elm Park, and the staff was very friendly, welcoming me as a new patient when I walked in the door. Dr. Matt carefully took his time, making sure that my newly diagnosed astigmatism was taken care of with the third trial pair of contacts. He and his staff were also clear and helpful with pricing, which is the thing that bothers me at eye care places when they don’t. He even recommended not rushing to change my glasses lenses because the prescription change might not be significant enough to be worth the cost. I would definitely recommend this practice!

Doctor Matt was personable, thorough, and professional. He took the time to explain everything and to alleviate concerns I had re: the differences between ophthalmic and optometric care. The other folks in the office were efficient, handled my insurance beautifully, gave insightful advice on frames, and really took time to understand my situation. I got a great exam, my glasses are great, and I’m very happy.
