Wcws College Radio Station

We’ve been around (worked in, listened to and managed) college stations in many towns across the country. This is one of the worst run of the lot. A real missed opportunity for the College of Wooster.

yes! i didn’t even think to review WCWS, which is an excellent college radio station. they helped keep me discover college /​indie rock while i was in high school, and therefore they rock the microphone.

this city-​mouse is giving props where props are due, with that said I’m handing this college radio station a 5 star rating for impressing the heck out of me while i was in town this weekend. i also impressed the boyfriend’s fam who kept coming into the hotel room to use the ironing board — none of that candy hip-​hop here (well for the moment anyhow).
saturdays they feature the Lyric Opera of Chicago. i did my hair while getting a mini-​lesson in opera and Greek mythology. a synopsis of the story was given and then they would drop you into portions of Iphigenie en Aulide. On sunday i packed my bags to big band music. I checked out their website and during the week they play current stuff, mainly rock but from midnight to 2 am they play hip hop and dance so you can get your party on.
