Meet the Business Owner

Jay D.

Business Owner

A born Ohioan, he came home in 2005 and started Star Strategies with his wife Kay in 2007. Jay began working in insurance in 1986 while serving in the US Navy. After 10 years of serving his country and leading his men on the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-​67), he took his leadership and management talents to the corporate world where he trained and managed sales forces for 14 years. Currently, he is licensed for Life, Accident and Health in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

This combination of military precision and corporate structure leveraged well into the strategic planning and detailed execution needed to provide the high caliber of services necessary to achieve and exceed his client’s goals.
