I was very disappointed. They had several items made right there in Woolrich PA. But it was mostly blankets, hats and gloves. EVERYTHING else in the store was made in China and Indonesia. I don’t mind paying extra for something made right there, and we did buy a blanket and a few other items. But I can go to Walmart and pay 30 bucks for a lined flannel jacket made in China, as opposed to paying 150 bucks for one here…

Disappointing. The store did not have much in stock. Most items are made in China. Employees in the woman’s department could be overheard discussing their prior night of «hard drinking.» The cashier would not speak other than to ask for my driver’s license when I used my AMEX card. Even after I said hello to begin the transaction and thank you when the bagger plopped the bag on the counter. It is a shame, I expected more but is seems this great American company has passed its prime.

Woolrich is a Pennsylvania staple, and this store has all your woolrich needs. The outlet store offers everything from the classic Woolrich clothing to Woolrich home goods, and even a little café. This is a great place to stop, and pick up gifts or treat yourself to something. Siting right on the Great Eastern Hiking trail you can even take a little hike while in town. A great place to stop while in northern PA.

Woolrich has an outlet store in their hometown of Woolrich, PA. We visited, and I wish I would have carefully checked out Chuck Y’s review beforehand. It’s alright, much of the clothing and gear they sell(which mainly is for hunters and fisherman– and other outdoorsy types) is made in china and india, and they still charge prices that are fairly high.(45.00 for a flannel shirt?) It was pretty cool, not as nice or as large as the Cabela’s in Hamburg, PA though. Worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.

I think everyone in my family at one point or another has worked for woolrich. My great grandparents worked here! Every year for christmas I get a bunch of shirts and shit from woolrich and I wear them all the time. There clothes are comfortable and cheap. They have a defect store as well and that place rules! In the nineties I would buy all my corduroy pants here. I was king.
