The place is little out dated, hot dogs are ok, also a little be over price for me, average price $ 7 to $ 10 per person(for a hot dog and fries)

I’ve always liked this hole in the wall hot dog place but not today. I tried to tell the girl who took my order that Unilocal said they are closed today and they may want to update it. She practically bit my head off and said they have nothing to do with Unilocal.Rude! It could explain why we were the only ones eating there. Don’t waste your money!!!

This place is a dive. They have astro turf on the ground. The counter that they use is to check you out is way too small and looks makeshift. The hotdogs themselves were decent but way overpriced. The onion rings were good.

Nothing great, basic boiled hot dog and frozen precut fries. For the price they could do better. Five Guys has them beat.

Great little spot for a «gourmet» hot dog, it’s just your average hot dog place, I wasn’t truly surprised but wasn’t expecting much either. Not much to write about in this review, if you want a hot dog with some ingredients you normally wouldn’t do at home, it’s a great little spot. Atmosphere is normal and clean, staff is pleasant as well.

My son loves hotdogs so I’ve taken him a few times. Good little local spot. Plenty of options to top your dog. Good outdoor seating. Long lines

GREATLITTLECOMMUNITYSPOT! This is that little shop in every neighborhood that has endured for years and is the place where you always run into people that you know. It is located on Main street right across from City Park. We stopped in today to get a hotdog for my husband because he REALLY loves hotdogs. The restaurant is relatively small with traditional bench seating. It is decorated in bold red, blue and yellow colors and reminded me of a «happy carnival». There is a small patio out back that offers a perfect seat for«people watching» while enjoying a bite to eat. The little lady at the counter was as sweet as southern tea. She didn’t just greet her customers but actively engaged them in a personal way. I imagine that she is the«go to» person if you want to know what’s going on with a particular person in town. Although the restaurant is called Hotdog Heaven, it has a varied menu that includes hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries and onion rings. My husband decided to order the special which was a soft barbeque taco and a jumbo chili dog with natural fries added. I tasted the dog but found the meat a bit dense for me although it had a nice flavor. I did appreciate that it did not taste salty or high in fat. The chili was perfect, not greasy or salty. The fries for me were overcooked for me but my husband felt that they were fine. I personally would have sent them back. This menu was about my husband so I chose to sample his order instead of ordering something for myself. Regarding the barbeque taco, it was served in a white tortilla with cole slaw added. It was very one note,(sweet on sweet) and would have been better if the cole slaw had been more seasoned and fresh vegetables were added. I do not like the«southern» interpretation of cole slow so it is always a fail for me. Food aside, this is still a great little restaurant to just hang out and people watch. It has a great«feel good» vibe and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband REALLY enjoyed his hotdog and would definitely return.

Great hot dogs and great service. Been here several times over the years and I am so glad that business has picked up since the rejuvenation of Main St. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for a great hot dog!

Absolutely amazing. My girlfriend got the Chicago and was so happy. Our son got a kids meal and I got a BBQ sandwich. The BBQ was clearly home made, with love. The owner was the best part. She was so so so sweet to us and made us feel like family. She gave our son four quarters to play a little game there and gladly talked to us about the history of the place. I would gladly go back tomorrow. Definitely a place that makes you feel appreciated as a customer and the food was really great.

They definitely give you your money’s worth here. The Rueben sandwich was so big I couldn’t fit in my mouth; had to dice up prior to eating. Philly cheesesteak was awesome. Onion rings and fries are groovy as well. Yep, I said groovy I’m very picky about French fries

I love this place! It has been years since I have been here and I am so happy I was able to make my way back. The food is amazing and the employees are extremely accommodating. I love sitting outside on the patio with my family and my dog. They have so many good food items I can’t wait to get back here and try more great food.

Great place to go for lunch with the kids. It’s a small family run place and the owner is very friendly. My 2 year old loves her because she chats him up every time we go! Tons of hot dogs to choose from. My husband raves about their Chicago dog. We’ve never had trouble finding a parking spot but we’ve always gone on weekdays before noon. It’s kid friendly, fast, and cheap and something different than fast food.

What a neat hole in the wall place. Small but hear they are hoping to expand. Variety of dogs are plentiful as well as delishous. My favorite is the Chicago Dog. I know there are expenses to running a business but, do think a tad over priced. Still if you need your dog fix satisfied this is the place to go.

Hubby got take out one day as it was raining and we didn’t want to get our 2 year old in it. We got a chili cheese and chicago to split(to see which we liked best.) I really enjoyed both of them! I honestly cannot decide which was my favorite! We also got chili cheese fries which were crazy salty, but ehh who cares, it’s fries! We also got corn nuggets. I don’t know if they make them in-house or buy frozen. But DAMN those little things were amazing! We can’t wait for spring and summer to get into«hot dog» weather!

Vienna hotdog joints are always over rated, this one is no exception. Nothing stands out on the menu, and I can do it at home much cheaper. This place is about reliving your youth, not about good food. If I want a hotdog, I go to pataks meat market in powder springs, get a debracena, go up to the park on the lake with some charcoal and fix it up like I want. 1000 times better, cheaper, and I don’t feel like a dolt for overpaying for junk food.

Recently moved to Woodstock from Chicagoland… You will not be disappointed with Chicago Style Dog. First question when I walked in «do you have poppy seed buns?» The lady at the counter quickly responded with«of course, we wouldn’t use anything else», duh lady, but tell that to everyone else. The relish was neon green as it should be, and Vienna beef hot dog was perfect. The lady at the counter correctly explained the Chicago Style dog to my boyfriend, and explained her cooks were from Chicagoland too. The Italian beef, delicious. Not your Johnny’s beef delicious but definitely worth ordering. So basically I don’t have to leave my boyfriend because I can’t get a decent hot dog in this town.

This is a wonderful little spot on the downtown Woodstock strip. This place was saved by the community a few years ago and thank god it was! Fun spot to get some great chili and plain Chicago style hotdogs. Fries and onion rings are good too. Great spot for a weekend lunch.

The place is haunted by a ghost, but has pretty good hot dogs.
