The people who work in this place are so nice. I was glad when they remodeled about a year ago and updated the equipment, chairs, tables and flooring. Their location is very convenient off of the 7 train. As a note, they are closed on Sundays.

I had not gone to Mink in quite some time, probably over a year. I decided to treat myself to a manicure and walked over to Mink. What happened? I’m glad I had decided to only go with the manicure and not a mani/pedi because those pedicure tubs looked horrible! Rusty and dirty and just gross. I looked around while getting my nails done and this place has really gone down hill. Everything just looked dirty. And I wasn’t thrilled with my manicure either. I think this place may have a very solid following of usual customers and they are living off that but I don’t think I’ll be going back again. Its also amazing and unusual that they’ve never raised their prices. Its been a $ 7 manicure since i moved to Woodside 6 years ago. Maybe they should start raising prices so they can renovate… or hire someone to clean the place.

I keep returning here when in a crusty nailed pinch and keep regretting it. Kharma has me getting the same manicurist who doesnt understand«please just file, keep length». You’d think poorly painted knubs would remind me for atleast five days…

I’m a huge fan of this place. I love how quick they are… if I don’t have to wait, I can be in and out in 45 – 50 minutes for a mani and pedi. They have a great selection of Essie nail polish and also do a nice french manicure. My manicures almost always last a full week with no chipping, which never seems to hold true when I get manicures at more expensive places.
