This bakery is a great addition to the neighborhood. My first couple visits I ordered more typical Western items — omelets, eggs with cheese on a roll — and I was unimpressed. I decided to give it another try and on my next visit I ordered one of their Mexican specials, the Mole Enchiladas. Now I’m hooked and understand that they don’t do everything well but the things they do well, Mexican dishes, are great. The chile relleno is excellent and the chilaquiles are the best I’ve had in the area. The coffee is good and the ambiance is more like a cafeteria than a sit down restaurant but the food is excellent. I don’t have an opinion about the baked goods because I don’t generally like sweets or bread. I’ll be eating here often.

Should’ve known both reviews were fakes, and found the $ 1 «cinnamon sweetbread» dry and forgettable. Staff was nice enough and there’s seating if you’re into that, as many seemed to be.

I love this place. Best coffee and Mexican baked goods in the neighborhood. They also serve breakfast and lunch. Short and Sweet you can’t go wrong.

La Fe Bakery is a hidden gem in an unusual neighborhood. The owners take pride in their work and that is something you can taste, it is a great mexican-style bakery with affordable and delicious breakfast and lunch options. As for a Torta de Milanesa and you won’t regret.
