Emily Joubert

A lovely garden store with a nice relaxing outdoor space — but no, I’m not here to browse! I’m actually here for their famed coffee. They make a mean espresso, and you don’t even have to pay for it.
Just make sure you tip the barista handsomely ;)

Expensive and over priced. In Woodside so maybe that’s why the cost. But very cute none the less.

Been walking and biking by this place for years and never peeked in. That will change with their added coffee maker set up. Best cup of coffee in Woodside by far, and you pay what you think it is worth. Nice décor filled garden in which to drink it — and nice people working there and visiting too. My wife will be back for the nice selection of succulents.
Now when they have a big biscotti to go with the coffee … 5 stars.

Rarely, do I ever give a place 5 stars. Unless the lady or gentleman who worked there went beyond. I have to say, from the minute I walked past it, it was a welcoming and nice and pretty place. I think the only drawback is the fact they don’t have more selection of plants and herbs, etc. I would suggest to the owner, add fruit tress, and more flowers, and herbs, than you have a great place for the customer to get lost in. I would also, add more flowers, in the main shop area. But, the thing that I ALWAYS go OCD is the customer service, because it’s the backbone of any business and the business has that to a perfect T. Congrats my only few 5 stars here on Unilocal.Keep going! Let’s keep the model the way it is but upgrade it to a great nursery.

This review is long overdue and beyond deserved! I am ELATED that she has added the coffee bar to her cute store. I work next door and Annalise and Ben always do a phenomenal job making THE BEST almond milk, iced lattes. Which is great for me since I can’t have dairy. They even deliver it when I’m too busy! They truly take pride in their coffee craft. And there’s even an adorable shaded area where you can enjoy your frothy treat if you wish to. What more could you ask for?! Woodside is definitely upgrading. Not to mention it’s a MUCH tastier roast & unmatched customer service than some neighboring cafés.

Great service, creative product, high level of customer service. Costly but quality is costly. They do an exceptional job and are very friendly and accommodating. When sending flowers to someone in their area, they are my only call.

Absolutely beautiful shop-​a great blend of rustic/​formal with outdoor plants, containers, gardening implements and outdoor furniture. Inside, there are all sorts of unique gift items I never see anywhere else. The floral arrangements are stunning and created to perfection. I order from them whenever I’m in the area. The staff is very friendly and accommodating both inside and out in the garden. It’s well worth the stop if you find yourself in Woodside and are looking for something exceptional and out of the ordinary.

Emily Joubert does amazing floral arrangements! I have used them on various occasions from ordering flowers for a friend to using them for 10 – 15 arrangements for an event and they never disappoint. The staff is extremely helpful in making they have the theme of your arrangement correct and deliver too!
The store also has a great selection of gifts as well!

I had the pleasure of working with Emily Joubert to prepare a welcome basket for friends that were staying at a local hotel. The folks at Emily Joubert were extremely helpful, creative, and easy to work with from across the country. My friends were overwhelmed with the quality and content of the basket. It met the needs of everyone in their group — both children and adults. I highly recommend their store and services.

I can always find gifts for anybody. They even have kids stuff. the price is good too.

Emily Joubert is amazing! The arrangements are high end spectacular and yet the service is down home warm and friendly! I was referred to them by a five star hotel and yet I pay no more for a special occasion arrangement than I do pretty much anywhere else! Even when I was in a last minute bind, on the biggest flower holiday of the year– Valentine’s Day– they didn’t gauge me on the price! I will call Emily Joubert anytime I ever need the most beautiful flowers in Woodside!

Love this store and always enter via the little garden which has such a quaint and eclectic assortment of garden items. Inside you find beautiful jewelry, fine linens, candles, home décor and some stunning leather purses that I’ve never seen anywhere else.

This place is Much More than a florist. It is the perfect gift shop filled with retro looking toys, jewelry, cookbooks, house décor, and the best assortment of creative greeting cards.
The service is also impeccable… I was truly delighted we found this place. We both bought several cards… and I also got a beautiful bracelet (that I happen to be wearing right now!).

The location for Emily Joubert is just delightful, and oh-​so-​charming. They did a great job incorporating the nursery and the gift store together.
The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful in advising for gift purchases.

After eating lunch across the way, my friend insisted that we visit Emily Joubert. She had just been to a recent trunk show and had purchased an artist’s jewelry here. We strolled into find a charming little shop that seemed to have that special talent, that not every place has, but those that do~ can somehow help make the world go away.
You can tell that that everything was chosen with much love and displayed in much the same way. Not many stores remind me of my special old store that I lost in the 2003’s earthquake but this unique store brought a kind of nostalgic sweet walk down memory lane as I strolled through it.
Though the owner is clearly a florist (my friend clued me in before we walked in the door) she chooses fun and creative gifts & stationery and then on the patio many design items to accent the floral side of things.
As you walk out through the patio you see that the foucus of floral is serious and a bit whimsical with the crown planters and fun patio wares but the price tags indicate that they are definitely serious about their items though they quickly pointed out that they would be having a 20% off SALE! Still not enough for me in Today’s financial times! OUCH! But really cute stuff! I did buy some cards!

This such a wonderful place to buy quality gifts for any occasion. It is such a thoughtful store, it is clear the owner/​buyer has hand picked everything. The staff is so sweet and they always wrap my gifts with such care. It is always an enjoyable shopping experience.

The business owner has a wealth of knowledge in DESIGN, GARDENING & HOME DECOR— This is a Fabulous environment for simple, clean and unique antiques, as well as replicas that add a sweetness to any home — elegance in a charming way– they are a wonderful small business with a flair for the whimsical charms that every home needs.
The flowers are also excellent in quality. A knowledgeable staff for all of your gardening needs.
This is a fun family owned business — I support and suggest that you not miss this gorgeous shop the next time you are in Woodside, CA.

This place is absolutely beautiful.
My garden coach suggested I come check it out for ideas, and given the other reviews on Unilocal and the Emily Joubert website, I thought it would be a hour-​long event. Sadly, I was done in about 10 minutes. It’s a beautiful store with really pretty things, but the store isn’t huge, and the «garden» if you could call it that (mostly stones and some plants in pots) isn’t all that helpful for ideas and buying plants. I did find a few things I wanted, but they were more like wishes than things I’d really spend the money to buy.

also a lot of decorations and accessories for the home too… and since Halloween is right around the corner they have a lot of cute decorative items such as pumpkin paper laterns, some black crows, skulls etc
they also have these really nifty looking napkin rings.
As you walk inside you will notice a lot of clothes and other decorative house items. They also have some books, books talking about luxury hotels of the world or just specific locations such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Italy etc.

Another great surprise place for gifts (and a must after eating at Buck’s or the Woodside Bakery!). I love browsing in here for unique garden decoratives and beautiful housewares. This used to be «In Any Event» and although there have been changes, it still is high on my list when I need Christmas or hostess gifts!
