Got the meatball pizza — wasn’t that bad but the delivery guy totally thrashed the pie. I checked the pizza in front of him and he knew what he did. He just didn’t say anything about it. Pizza was tasty, a little too salty but actually tastes better a day or two later. Just be aware of delivery. Your pizza might come all soupy and messy.

Love this place. Its just your typical greasy fried foods at a cheap price. Comparable to crown’s fried chicken, palace, etc. They are always efficient on the phone. Friendly and quick with delivery!

Their pizza is basic and good for the average pizza craving. Quick delivery too so I would reorder again if in a pinch.

They have reasonable prices and their pizza is very good. The crust isn’t too hard and they have a good variety of pies to choose from.

BESTPIZZAINWOODSIDE. Order for them at least once a week and never have we had any complaints. I could eat this pizza everyday if i wanted to. They are very friendly over the phone. they even allow me to pay with my card over the phone. ive had the penne ala vodka and its amazing as well. The only bad thing i had was the chicken franchise(however its spelled). The philly cheese is good to. Honestly, we dont eat any other pizza other than daros. Love everything about this place. !!!

Daro’s is very affordable for anyone living on 69st and Roosevelt. The staff is really friendly, always get their fresh fried chicken and fries, if not a slice is the best way to go.

This place can be hit and miss. Pizza is pretty good. They have an airer type crust. When you pay by credit card they charge you more, why I have no idea.

The guy makes up prices and charges you a different amount when you pay with a credit card. Not the best but I go for convenience.

So I’ve never checked this place out until today. The food here is veryyy cheap & they have a very huge menu. The go from burgers to fried chicken to gyros, chicken poppers, chicken pattys, pizza, garlic knots, French fries, Mac n cheese salads & much more food. They even have dessert selections! My boyfriend bought me a grilled chicken gyro combo that came with fries & a drink for only $ 5.95! & it honestly tasted very decent. He also got his nephew a cheeseburger combo with fries & a drink for $ 5.95 as well & he got himself a regular lamb gyro combo with fries & a drink for $ 6.95. The food came pretty quickly as well. We will totally hit this spot up when we’re in the neighborhood and have a low budget for food. The only reason I took a star away is because the place is very small and needs more tables to sit and eat. Also the tables aren’t very clean.

Food came pretty fast. But I didn’t like my soggy burger, that’s what you get when you order take out though. Fries were alright. Friend recommended, decent id say.

Be warned people, not all their food is Halal… it doesn’t mention it in the Manu… I was so disappointed to find out that they serve Pork in a Halal Restaurant…

Disappointing. Just disappointing. I’ve ordered twice from Daro’s while working out in Jackson Heights, and that’s all they will get from me. Between the gyro, slice of of pizza, and fried chicken — none of them warranted being ordered again. There’s better pizza that will deliver in this area. There’s better lamb gyro in this area. And the fried chicken? A joke. No flavor, no moisture, no crunch.

$ 10 for a large pie when you pick it up. Best deal in the neighborhood for pizza. It’s not great but it isn’t bad. Probably the only place you can get a pizza pie this cheap. Their chicken and fries are of the Kennedy Fried Chicken variety. Extra oily, always warming, and flavorful.

Kennedy Fried Chicken can be one of the greatest meals in existence. It’s just so juicy and salty with some kick, and the times you go there, you are usually near death in one way or another(hunger or outside forces). I am not a regular, but I can recount almost every experience I’ve had with a 3-piece box of Kennedy’s Fried Chicken(or the related kind). Daro’s is no Kennedy Fried Chicken. Not even one of it’s imitators. The color is actually spot-on, with the orange-ish tint that hints spiciness, but no, no spiciness. The breast is not that moist, and the accompanying shoestring fries, though appreciated, can barely pick up the hopes of this box. It’s definitely got the looks, but at taste it just isn’t where it could be. The people are nice, but I really cannot get excited about the food. Add that to the fact that via the menu, it is seemingly impossible to order chicken without fries and soda — there may be a way of negotiating, but it was not listed. I wish I would, but I won’t — I won’t be coming back to Daro’s.

I had a medium pepperoni pizza and a bacon cheeseburger delivered recently. The burger was edible and the pizza tasted okay. However, some of the cheese and toppings were stuck to the side of the box(see photos). What I really have a problem with is the delivery guy showing up and saying he has no change. I won’t be ordering from this place again.
