Body & Brain Yoga

Being a newbie to the yoga world, I didn’t know what to expect. Monica did a thorough evaluation on my fitness, balance, breathing and tension points. She also shared with me multiple stretching techniques. All in all pleased to have found this local gem. I’ll be back next week.

I found a gem in Sunnyside! It is called Body and Brain Yoga and Tai Chi in Sunnyside.
I signed up for the One to One Intro Session and boy did I strike gold when I attended. The instructor was not only amazing but she is also so insightful and really knows her stuff. Normally, I don’t do hugs with strangers and takes me a while to warm up to people but her energy is so inviting and positive that eventually before my session was over, I did not want to leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeave… so I gave a long tight hug! Heeeeeeeeeee!
The session is basically a series of poses and breathing excercises that serve as an assessment as to where your chakras, body and mind are at. Upon your assessment, from there, the instructor can recommend the series of classes and/​or workshops available that may be suitable to you.
If you sign up, be open, receptive and ready to change your life. You will be in good hands and will not wait to sign up for classes. Thank me later! :P
