Disclaimer, this is for the voting process only, not related to the school. I have done early voting for a while, so this was my first experience voting at this school. First, I went to the wrong door, the cones blocking the side entrance, I guess, are to point you to the side entrance to get to the polling place. Then I spotted a small sign posted on a door, not the entrance, with an arrow. I just had my eyes checked and this sign was smaller than any of the print on that famous eye chart. Okay, continue on, to another door. Once inside, you have to hunt for the signage to point you to the polling place. You knew you could not go straight because of the metal gate blocking the hall. I understand, protect the children, but really, could you make it any harder to vote??? So, I arrive, no you do not need my identification. Then you give me some big ass piece of paper, another piece of paper, and in my pinkie ~ a pen. I walk over. Hello, it’s 2014, don’t you have any computerized voting? You have to ask, they have one. Frustration is high. Of course, now that I know the ropes, I will drive to wherever I have to drive for early voting. Civic duty complete.
