AMLI at Seven Bridges

The staff and maintenance team are always extremely helpful! This is a great place to live!

I have lived at Amli Seven Bridges for one year and have recently moved out. The only negative review I have is the price. For what you are getting I don’t think 1,249.00 for a one bedroom is fair. If they had updated appliances and granite counter tops then I wouldn’t be as apprehensive. Unfortunately the price is what drove us away.
Other than that I have nothing but positive reviews! The staff is beyond professional and helpful. They really took extra steps to resolve a situation I had promptly. I really don’t understand these negative reviews about them. They have never been rude or condescending. They have always been understanding even if seemingly impossible requests.
The buildings and hallways are in excellent condition. You can’t really hear your neighbors talking or yelling or the dogs barking loudly on the dog floors. The amenities are great too. Can’t forget the Amli perks card! I definitely took advantage of that. The maintenance staff is prompt and fixes everything perfectly. I have never had to call them to fix the same thing twice ever.
Overall, if you have the financial ability to live here, it’s a great place. There are few like it in the burbs!

The grounds and the buildings are nice and well maintained. The apartment itself is nice but becoming outdated for the expense. Cheap counter tops, older appliances and electric coil stoves. When I moved in to this community a few years back it was great. However, since it has gone down hill. My main complaint stems around the maintenance team entering my unit and breaking an expensive piece of my personal property. The office brushed me off to their claims department who is unresponsive for weeks on end. No follow-​up from the office at all. If you want to move here for the location great. Just make sure that you do not have anything of value because they will break it during «maintenance» and ignore your requests to have it fixed.

Love everything about what this community has to offer! Amenities are great and staff are wonderful and helpful. Brittney was awesome and super nice! Alicia and Artemio as well are great in what they do! Seven Bridges is the upscale end of Woodridge, and this is why you Pay for what you Get. And you get a lot living here! Very quiet inside your buildings. I’ve lived everywhere in the vicinity of Aurora, Oswego, Plainfield, Naperville, and nothing has matched up to what Amli has to offer to a tenant. It’s worth living here for sure!

The apartments are in a great area, very nice staff. But not worth the price. They advertise them as luxury apartments but for what I pay for a one bedroom there is nothing luxury about it. The appliances are old, my oven is electric with coiled burners. They do not include a microwave so you need to purchase one on your own in order to have one. Plastic tile in kitchen and bathroom. The counter tops are cheap and scratch easily. When we moved in, they «repainted» the walls with a primer, not even real paint, and there was no sealant put on the walls so now anything that brushes up against the paint leaves dirty marks. No ceiling fans to circulate air so unless you are running your AC constantly it gets very stuffy. Amenities are are a plus. But water, gas, and garbage are not included in the rent price so add that on to your monthly expenses. Basically, we pay almost $ 1500 a month to live here after all is said and done for a one bedroom. That’s equivalent to a 200,000 home mortgage payment. Electricity is expensive here due to electric oven and old appliances. We pay almost $ 100 every month for it! Definitely look at all your options before settling here.

The apartments are very nice, clean, no smells (despite reports below). The staff are very nice, especially Alicia and Rob. Rent is high, but my view west from the 6^th floor onto the lakes and golf course is just stunning and well worth it!

BEWARE! NEW MANAGEMENT ALERT!!!
This property has had a new manager for approximately 3 months now and there has been a complete shift in customer service… for the worse.
Heather Sudnik, Community Manager, is new to the property and brought her «my way or the highway» philosophy along with her and staff. First of all, she doesn’t listen to your concerns. Instead she would rather interrupt and explain why things «are they way they are». Heather would rather not put any effort in to make the resident or customer experience better. In fact, and I quote, Heather tole me to «Figure out a solution and get back to me». At this point, I personally experienced the poor customer service that I have been hearing about from other residents. I now see that I am just another «renter» and addressing my concerns is of now value to the community manager. I would love to speak with her boss, but I’m sure that will only cause retaliation actions once my lease is up. Other than that, the physical property is nice and I’ve enjoyed it. Additionally, the maintenance staff is amazing. If only the front office was a kind and willing to help as maintenance staff! Too bad this will likely be the end of the road with AMLI when my lease is up for renewal.

This is my second review. I’m moving out at the end of this month. To be honest I like the apartments. They are nice and clean and one of the few that offer central air and laundry in the apartment. However I did second guess my decision the entire time.
They are unbelievably expensive. I’m moving to the maples. For the estimated 1500 I pay for a one bedroom, I can get a lot more elsewhere.
Most places offer water electric and trash included. Not amli. You pay rent plus water plus electric plus gas plus trash PLUS a random service fee. And breaking my lease is, 4000.
When renting at amli you have really got to think about how much money you are willing to let them take. You will be amazed by the nice location and how incredibly rich these apartments look. But they really are just apartments and not necessarily worth it.
And I will say that the previous reviews about maintenance are incorrect. They will come to you whenever you are available and need help. They were awesome about that.
If you have the money great go for it. But if you are young and trying to save I wouldn’t understand looking here at all.
ALSO when dealing with anyone in the office Alicia and Ashley were the nicest and most understanding. The other girls don’t particularly seem to like their job or life.

Just got an email indicating nothing was done concerning my service request! How nice. Thanks AMLI. This makes the fifth or six month that you have ignored the problem. That’s persistence. UPDATE — apparently the problem was taken care of by AMLI and I received verbal confirmation that the problem was fixed; we’ll see.
AMLI entered my apartment on two separate occasions in the last two months without my permission.
If you have a guest and your guest has a car, you need to ask permission from AMLI for your guest to park overnight or they will tow your guest’s car. The AMLI office closes at 6PM, if you need permission after 6PM you are out of luck. People live in the suburbs to leave parking issues behind in the city.
There is a notice in the elevator that indicates there was vandalism to a car recently in the garage.
Customer service is nonexistent.

One of the first tenant in this beautiful community over 12 years ago, move-​in and out for employment reasons and still couldn’t find a place/​location as great as AMLI @ seven bridges, I knew the very first set of people that worked there and also to current staffs, i was a little scared and skeptical when the new crew came, thinking things might change but they kept the standards. Ashley the new manager always ask «Is there anything to make your stay better» I couldn’t ask for more and also Brittney, Meghan and the rest of them, I can’t but talk a little bit about «Simeon» one of the maintenance guy. I have moved here 4^th time since i was a single guy and am now expecting my 3^rd, which is the only reason am moving out to a house. Great place to live and have fun.

Been living here for three years. Bathroom fan inop since winter. Mold growing on ceiling — painted over twice. Understandable that maintenance could not go up on roof in winter. However, no follow-​up whatsoever from AMLI. I had to ask them for updates multiple times until the fan was supposedly fixed in July!
This kind of poor customer service should not ever occur at a place of this caliber.

Throughout the course of 10 years, I have lived in 3 different apartment communities in 3 different suburbs within the Chicagoland area. Once my now husband and I moved to the AMLI at Seven Bridges, we didn’t know quite what to expect as we didn’t have a particularly gleaming recommendation of the last community we were at after the management changed. Since day one of moving in to the AMLI at Seven Bridges, we have been treated like family. The former staff (particularly Michelle) was so kind and helpful and the maintenance men are always friendly, professional and skilled. We have lived here for 5 years now and have loved every minute of it! The amenities are wonderful and the apartments are very spacious!
The only negative I can possibly think of which has no reflection of the management is how filthy some of the residents are! Some residents will just throw their trash out into the common hallway and leave it out there for days. Others with pile the common trash/​recycling cans sky high with gross rotten food and trash when they could easily throw it down the chute or put it in the dumpster. A good majority of the people in my building are lazy and disgusting. It’s really upsetting for those of us who like to have guests over to out clean residences and like our space to be sanitary as well.
Overall, AMLI at Seven Bridges gets 5 stars from me because the staff & maintenance are professional & helpful, the grounds are beautifully manicured, the amenities are awesome and the living space in the apartments is quite spacious! Cheers to AMLI at Seven Bridges for doing such a wonderful job with this community!

I Usually don’t write reviews, but this time I couldn’t resists as this could help someone.
I don’t know where to start from but to begin with Pros
Pros
1) Good Location.
2) Great Maintenance.
3) Frequent party’s organized by the management.
Cons well this is the section where I usually concentrate.
1) High Rent.
2) Main door has 3−5inch gap between floor and door, and when you stand near your kitchen and cough whole ally can hear you coughing, and forget this place if you have kids 3 – 4 years old, you will keep getting notices from Apt office saying you are loud, well get that POS door fixed.
3) Water Bill — just insane for example if there is a couple with 2 kids they bill you straight $ 100 including trash. WT F I never had a water bill exceeding 30 – 50 bucks a month in any of the state or in independent house.
4) Garage is $ 70 or 80 based on your preferred spot, trust me if you have SUV you will be ending up screwing your Rack and Pinion bcoz the parking spots are so cozzzzzy and close that you will have to do back and forth 4 – 5 times to get out of your spot.
5) Electricity bill ohhhhhh my god its $ 200 range and plus gas if in winter it ranges to 60 –80 bucks.
And these are the real true numbers not a guesstimate and you wont get this deep dive details from management office, if you really want to spend 15 – 1600 on this apt why not rent a town home or some apt which is cheaper, just for good location and nice and clean apt I don’t want to tourcher my self with this utilities and extra charges being slapped on me…
Definitely not a worth place to put $ 1600 for Rent and water and top of that get complaints you being loud.
And just tell me 1 thing how much you can control little ones 2−4yr old kids, scaring them not to shout and play, common they are small kids they get excited and shout and laugh among themselves when they play just to stay in this apt you want to keep yelling on your kids and asking them not to play shout or get excited… I aint staying in this retirement home after my lease is up and top of that pay so much of utilities.
If you can bare with these much of cons then its really a good place to stay…
