History

Established in 1989.

Ultra was founded to fill a void in reliable executive transportation for Woodland, Davis, Vacaville and northern Sacramento County.

Expanding to meet the needs of our clients, Ultra added stretch limousines to the fleet in 2002. «Beautiful and fun» only begin to describe our newest 10 passenger Lincoln by DaBryan (awesome sound system, 3 flat screens, mirrored ceiling, etc).

Regular business travelers tell us that no other company, anywhere in the world, takes as much pride in their vehicles. They also note that our chauffeurs are both well spoken and impeccably attired.

All of our chauffeurs and all of our vehicles are 100% non-​smoking, 100% of the time. Ultra is in a certified random drug screen program and a safety check program.

Meet the Business Owner

Richard L.

Business Owner

Richard was a journeyman mechanic in the mid-70’s and was enticed into becoming a partner in a Hollywood style start-​up. A-​Action Limousine Service began with a used five passenger Cadillac and chauffeured limo transportation was introduced to Sacramento.

Other entrepreneurs saw the potential and a new industry flourished. A-​Action closed its doors and Richard went to work for the largest company in town, Presidential. He soon became the most requested driver for heads of state and rock stars alike.

When Presidential closed, Richard helped two young brothers start Universal Limousine. They wanted to focus on ever larger limousines and the emerging party bus market, so Richard bought a Town Car and licensed Ultra Limousine Service to compliment Universal’s business and accommodate corporate clients.

Universal soon added their own sedans, so Richard focused on his home town area of Woodland. The rest is history and Ultra became the premier limo service in Yolo County.
