We specialize in beef brisket and only use Certified Angus Beef locally raised in Colorado. Influenced by Central Texas and Memphis-style barbecue, we offer a balanced mix of flavor. Our made from scratch Ancho Chili Porter barbecue sauce goes well with just about any meat we serve.

History
Established in 2016.
KC Barbecue was created in 2015 and spent the year smoking meats for catering events and/or parties. In 2016, we are teaming up with a local brewery to serve great barbecue and great beer.
Meet the Business Owner
Ken C.
Business Owner
Ken created «KC Barbecue» in 2015 with the mission of preserving the authenticity of barbecue by holding on to older traditions and respecting the flavor of the meat. Ken decided many moons ago, that the typical Thanksgiving turkey fresh from the oven did an injustice to the bird and therefore, smoked his first turkey for the family get-together. Since that time, it didn’t take long before Ken was adding chicken, Cornish game hens, duck, and goose to the smoker for holiday festivities and/or backyard get-togethers. It wasn’t until 2012 that Ken smoked his first brisket for a friend that was moving back home. Even though the brisket turned out like a dried piece of leather that looked like a hockey puck, everyone was polite and just dumped more sauce on top. Knowing he could do better, Ken experimented with multiple briskets smoked in various ways. Every piece of meat is cooked on the smoker from start to finish: there are no shortcuts, or tricks, just authentic barbecue at its best.
